At Nicholas Abbey is definitely not a wonder horse, the way it run
in the guineas was terrible, it’ll never win next week, won’t even run IMO.I like Harry, seen lots of his interviews, says it how it is, a great punter
and most importantly, a Chelsea fanHopefully you weren’t on the wrong end of mighty mittens himself on Yashrid at Ripon the other day.
Keep the chin up, reminds me of a spell a couple of years ago in the height of summer when I couldn’t buy a winner, a spell of 3 from anout 11 bets got beaten at 1.01, 1.01 and 1.03.
I saw that race, didn’t see the photo print though.
Was they called Yashrid and Robinson the winner.
Can’t believe I had the winner, how on earth did he hold on
Great ride by Gibbons though.
Chin up fella.
Matthew
I get the feeling Matt is following this thread with relish and there are a few extra loud yee-ha’s for us all
Terrible presenter, quite unprofessional.
As a serious punter, if you’re having a bad day he’s the last
person you need to hear making jokes, I remember once he was making
horse noises after a race. Proper bellend.Totally agree about Best Mate, I was at Exeter that day and it was the first time I actually cried over the loss of a horse.
I was in tears seeing the following Saturday’s Morning Line mate, hearing Jim Lewis talking about it. Very upsetting.
Best mate I found heartbreaking or was it one man, not sure but it was deffo one of those. It’s probably been said on here before but I think some trainers and owners are greedy and should retire horses alot sooner ….
Exactly! So what chance have I got getting my dough back from the magic sign then?
I had a huge bet on my account with Ladbrokes, has anyone who
backed Gaspara tried to get their money back?I don’t hold out much hope, but curious?
I backed Gaspara yesterday and having had a
bad day, thought this one was the one to get me
out of trouble, how right/wrong I was.Firstly, despite not taking the second last, surely common
sense should prevail and Gaspara should be allowed to
keep the race, the blame has to go towards the flag waving
idiots not Cook, what were they doing? Cook had really no
alternative but to go round the hurdle anything could be dangerous
on the other sideSecondly, Gaspara would have won easily, the horse that finished
2nd but was awarded the race was not closing on Gaspara at all 3 furlongs
out.Thirdly, I reckon had Gaspara been a rank outsider rather
than a well backed clear favourite the stewards would have
taken a different view/not been given an envelope by the bookies and
would have been allowed to keep the race.I feel proper hard done by.
