I am keeping faith with Sariska and am on her at 16/1.

I agree that she is a very good filly on good or better ground but she is outstanding on soft ground. Her win in the Irish oaks last year was the easiest group 1 win I have seen since Montjeu in the King George.

Obviously there is a long way to go and luck will be required in terms of staying healthy and hoping for some rain in October, but apparently she has strengthened and improved as a 4 yr old and unless a superstar emerges from the 3 yr old ranks, I would fancy her and Fame and Glory to have it between them if it came up soft or good to soft.

She is running in the coronation cup and I won’t be heartbroken if she doesn’t win as the likely going will be fast, I just hope she runs well and steams on towards paris!

Yep, he wasn’t for me but that was mightily impressive…

On a seperate note, that ground looks plenty fast enought, they were strung out like a washing line!

To everyone who backed Sizing Europe in the Champion a few years ago…… KEEP THE FAITH!

I think it’s time for this horse to fulfil his destiny, he is a high class animal with a very high cruising speed who jumps like a stag. Although impressed with Captain Cee Bee despite falling at Leopardstown, I concern myself only with Sizing Europe that day and I think neither the ground nor racing too close to the pace suited him, he didn’t quite jump with his usual vigour that day (ground softer than ideal), normally he attacks his fences and is a sight to behold as he sails over them. On better ground at Cheltenham and with a nice break behind him I think he will absolutely motor round and jump his rivals into submission.

I obviously fear CCB and Somersby but I think they will be toiling and possibly hitting a few at the pace they will be forced to jump at…

    Bring it on!!!!!

Personally, I wouldn’t crab the 2009 Supreme Novices form, Go Native came through and won it well and has hardly let his supporters down this year. I think with the ground in his favour he is still the one to beat, although I do admit if he is delivered too early I wouldnt bet on him holding off a Solwhit Rally up the hill!

Agreed, doubtful is probably an understatement.

Who knows Willie Mullins wouldn’t show his best friend a birds nest.

    :o

I just wondered cos he hasn’t been officially ruled out yet I guess…. They are obviously going to give him every possible chance, slim though it may be.

Would put an interesting twist on procedings now that most of us have assumed he won’t make it….
