agree the BBCs coverage was terrible, all but about 2 people trying to defend CH and RM. Im sure I heard earlier in the day Clare Balding call yesterdays oaks winner "Rain Dancer"
Just how can you get something so wrong, Jim McGrath gets the names wrong aswell, I think he called Native Khan, Native King in the Derby. CB was interviewing Barzalona after the race before the presentation, didnt give 2 about the UK viewers and getting any kind of french translator(even Fabre himself was there and would of done) just said "Its ok say it in french", fortunately it didnt matter as we could of guessed what he said easily anyway.Onto the race, no excuses for Carlton House imo, he was forced wide, but Pour Moi took the exact same route and line that CH took and was hanging unbelieveably badly in the final straight, it was a great piece of riding to get him to the line. I was worying he might have egg on his face when he was pumping his fists at the crowd before the call had been on the winner as it could easily of been given to Trasure Beach. I would now be surprised if anything beats this in the Arc, other than possibly Frankel if he goes.
