Wilf was a really good guy, always chatting and friendly, and he cared deeply about the future of the sport, giving up a lot of time in his stewarding capacity.

In recent years he didn’t have a lot of luck with his own horses as far as injury was concerned, yet despite the numerous setbacks he kept smiling and upbeat,

He leaves a huge hole.
