This site is quite useful: http://www.racingnet.co.uk/

Also, if you type "vdw" into the Flat Stats (http://www.flatstats.co.uk/) search page, there are some very useful and informative posts.

Furthermore, I know his and Jock Binghams’ methods inside out if you need any more help on this topic.

    Greetings Brico,
    Hope your system goes well.

MrE, I have replied to your PM. Hope it goes ok.

How are you finding online casino’s? I have always fancied giving these a proper go but am put off by all the conspiracy theories about ‘controlled’ or ‘weighted’ software that these places are said to use. To back this up further, I always win better when I play the ‘Free’ games as opposed to ‘Live’ playing. Maybe this is due to having the psychological factor of not losing ‘real’ money when playing for free.

It would be interesting to hear some feedback on players’ experiences.

    MrE,

Is it £200 worth of bonuses you have lost? If so, you really have to read between the lines with the T&C’s on these offers. I almost fell into that trap myself but realised just in time.

    On to my main note:

I agree wholeheartedly about not giving too much away on forums. There are too many plagiaristic – ‘make an e-book out of this info and sell it’ – people scouting these places nowadays. It is a shame, though, for the honest ‘newbies’ who are on here solely for genuine advice and an insight into the mysterious world of horse racing and betting. However, I am like yourself in the way that I am not adverse to offering the odd snippet of advice and help, from my fifteen years experience in horse playing, to people with new ideas of systems and betting.

Finally, I am a great believer in place betting. Some people cannot seem to grasp the idea that you don’t have to back winners to win in this game, apart from the ‘Big Three’ and that is why they don’t offer it. Furthermore, I know of trainers who look to place horses in bigger prize races, rather than win lower grade events which kinda turns the whole thing on its head.

    Hello to everyone,

I have been reading this thread with interest and it seems that MrE is working on similar lines to a selection method in my systems portfolio. However, I must question why you backed Viking Spirit, being only seven runners in the line up?

Does anybody pay attention to over round percentages? I think it is quite an important tool for people like MrE and anybody who likes to use the market as guide/pointer to betting the front-end.

Furthermore, my regular haunt has also gone a bit quiet so this is not the only place that may be suffering from lack of input quality/quantity. I don’t think it can regarded as bad reflection on either site, though – we just need more topics like this on the go.

    Keep up the good work.
