Would have been a very interesting race if Goldikova had been left in. Think she might have just had the measure of Rip. With a bit of improvement, perhaps Delegator and Aqlaam will give Ballydoyle a run for their money?
I’m going to be there on sat, first time at Ascot. Looking forward to seeing Rip, and also some top class 2yo action.
Am I alone in thinking that Ask has a decent each way chance in this? Connections have said they would need good ground or softer ideally. Tons of rain forecast this weekend, so don’t think the ground will be a problem for the 25th. Unless we have a heatwave next week.
I can’t understand why the horse is nearly double the price of Youmzain and Look Here when it (just) got the measure of them both in the Coronation. 14/1 seems pretty fair to me.
Doesn’t look like a strong field this year and SMS could dominate the places. Of his others I prefer Tartan Bearer. I think this may come too soon after the eclipse for Conduit.
Agree with you there Graham. It’s difficult to know whether to go with the obvious choices (i.e Ghanaati etc) or take a risk with other less obvious horses knowing that any points they get will make more of a difference.

YeatsNot doing too badly. Narrowed my subs down to either Conduit, Ghanaati, Fame and Glory and Main Aim. Although as GrahamtheDonkey mentioned in the other thread, it may be better to go for some less obvious choices.
