How come all the people calling for Danny Cook to get a lengthy ban aren’t calling for the flagman who was waving the flag to get sacked? I mean, what exactly was he doing there? Would Cook have missed the hurdle if he wasn’t there?
Taking the wrong course 3 times in a year is terrible, but I think last night was excusable under the circumstances.This is excellent news. I was really hoping the forum would continue in the same way and am glad someone who seems to be very well respected on here has stepped in to run it.

dvds2000 and Ardross, I think you will find that if you read the ‘TRF – The Future’ thread of July 14th., LRM does indeed ask for offers from people to take over the forum, agreed she doesn’t mention selling or giving the site away but I would suggest that they are the only options.

Sorry, what i meant by that was, that it was unclear if the forum is to be sold or if it would be given away free (or for a nominal sum), I wasn’t trying to imply Debbie may keep the site, as I thought she made that clear.

I can’t believe this thread has turned out to be a thread where people are just slagging others off.
Debbie hasn’t even said if she wants to sell or give the site away, and TBH I’m sure she has more important things to be dealing with without having to go through pages of arguments.
If she decides to sell it (to Ian or whoever) then that is her decision and I’m sure everyone will be given the chance to remove their details from the database if required before anything happens.
If she gives it away then the same applies, but I’m sure it’s something she can decide without a thread like this.
There’s already been people saying they will either buy it or take it over and run it, so why not leave all the rumours and bitching until something is announced.

I hadn’t met Craig but we had spoken by email a few times in the past, mainly when we were both setting up the forums, but a couple of times over the years too.
I know how much work he put into making this place a success, and he will be missed.
My condolences to all Craig’s family.
