racing post online has this as 3/1 second favourite – so that would not be a selection.
Best to check the paper version in the morning
Well done Robotica,
But could you explain your staking plan, as after Little Pippit, which was a winner, you went from 1 point up to 2 for Waldmark, then down to 1.5 points for Double Obsession.
Just curious as regards your staking plan
David
Hi Robotica,
No I’ll let you post them up if you want to, but tell me you stay at the start that you have been operating this for over 10 years. Has it made a profit every year?
Good luck
David
Robotica
Are you going to post the rules here, or is it your intention not to?
In these instances, it’s alwyas fun to try and second guess and work them out yourself. I think I know yours, the best ones are the simple ones, aren’t they?
If you are against posting the rules, then I’ll honour your wishes. It’s nice to see a 1 a day system here.
Whatever, all the best
David
never mind Kersly, take heart that those backing these without checking would have bet Fife and Drum – it won at 4/1.
I’m like you, just haven’t got the time to be able to post each and every day.
However, surely everyone following can work out the selections themselves, or failing that, does anyone want to step into Kerlsy’s shoes, until he can post?

Think you mean Paradise Alley in the 2.35 Yarmouth, not Fife and Drum
David
Yippee!!!
Fabrazon does the business, and I feel great for poiting it out. With Shirazi now a n/r that’s it for the day as we well.
I think my last loser on this system was back in May, enough of the gloating, I guess with so many novice hurdles during the winter, that will even out!
Thanks again Kersly

Hello again,
why is not Fabrazon in the 2.05 Worcester a selection, it’s f/c price is 9/4 and it was 4th lto.
It’s a novice hurdle, and not a seller/amateur/juvenile?
Thanks
David
chance for reply is odds against on betfair at the moment. just took 5/4.
David
Kersly
Sorry to steal your thunder again, but was not Thingemebob in the 5.15 at York today, also a selection, if only an odds on one.
It was 8/11 forecast in the RP, but seemed always to be odds against on betfair during the day, and then took a significant drift in the market, out at one point to 2/1.
Deportivo also drifted between odds on and against all day, though that lost. I guess the best option, if you use the exchanges, would be to place a bet for at least EVENS and see if you will get matched.
Well done, good week that one.

It’s just that I’ve always felt handicap chases were as reliable, well almost as, novice hurdles. I’ll keep records though I’m also looking at conditions chases as well.
I’ll pop back after the summer and let you know how the chases have gone – though I’ve been betting the hurdlers since early Jan – I’m showing +25 points at the moment.
It’s a system I’ve happily added to my "portfolio".
Thanks again, Kersly.
David
Thanks Andy, yes you are correct re the two losers, my mistake, I just didn’t read my spreadsheet correctly! Certainly worth persevering with, let’s see how it goes.
Makes summer jumping more interesting!

Two things,
1) I think you missed two novice hurdle winners in May/June as well.
Sorry, but I only have the dates and the name of the horses, but Kidithou on 24 May and Felix The Great on 13 June were both selections, being at least EVS in the RP forecast. Makes your results look even better.
As for chases, since 13 June, including Ireland, there have been 8 selections resulting in five winners. Only Solway Plain and Bobayaro in the list below were losers. Sorry, I did not keep prices, or the courses, only my returns on betfair.

Again, these are all chases with the exception of novices but the rules are as per the novice hurdle system.
All the best

Actually I was thinking of avoiding novice chases, concentrating on all other chases, conditions and handicaps. Then using exactly the same criteria as with the novice hurdles.
I have been monitoring it over the last few weeks and it is showing promise, though understandably it needs much longer time, I would Have thought, a full proper MH season.
I’ll keep checking it and give you an update.

Shouldn’t Jollyolly in the 4.10 at Market Rasen have been a selection?
kersly
Hello again,
Just a little query
Why is High Action, 3.00 Brighton, down as an odds on selection, when it is bettered by Poppyline in Topspeed’s both “latestâ€ÂÂ
Hi again Kerlsy
Sometimes I can’t get to the web to check these selections and after reading the threads back to September, I still can’t work out the selections for myself.
Do you publish the rules on the forum? There seems to ahve been modifications as you have gone along.
Also, after the end of December I could not find a continous thread, therr seems to be a break until almost the end of Jan? Or have I gone stupid?
All the best
