I was just wondering what race VPU will be aimed at this year Because the horse runs so well at cheltenham if you can find the race the horse is gonna be aimed at early in the season you can get decent prices i had sum 5/1 last year for the Ryanair.
And i feel thats the most likely race they will go with the horse again but in my heart i would luv him to have a crack at the Champion Chase again i know he got beat e easily the last time the two met….but the horse proved he can beat MM and feel MM struggled in ireland i feel they will go for the Ryanair but if MM comes back and does run poorly they may switch and give the QMCC sum thought again IMO
Yeah i know the horse is bin aimed at the Arkle m8 but all the evidence ive seen with the horse last season he seems to get himself behind in the top 2 mile races.. i really feel the horse hasnt got the pace to lay up with the top horses at the beginning off 2 mile races i feel this was proven wen he was beat by Binmy by a country mile and CW.I really feel the horse needs a steap track to proof his best form and a really fast 2 miles if the arkle is run at slow pace i really feel the horse will struggle lots but if he gets the pace that a Arkle is norm run at he should be ok…..I would rather see him jump a fence before i back him really and also i feeel he may get turned over at short odds before the Arkle because of lack off pace the track etc and im hoping to get a bigger price during the season
How about this for antepost bet maybe CAJ runs in the arkle if he does ok makes a chaser how about backing him for the Gold Cup next year where i feel the trip will be right up his street and if he does make a chaser after the Arkle if hes staying on really well again i may invest a few quid after the race on him in the Gold cup
I did this on Kicking King wen he ran 2nd in the arkle me and my mate walked down to corals i told him the nite before i fancy it to run really well in the gold cup and we had 20 quid each on him for the gold cup at 50s wen we came to get are money the following year they was over 1 hour finding the ticked we put it on that long before the race so arkle runners can go on and win the cold cup and maybe CAJ can?
Oh and forgot to mention why i feel CAJ should be looked at for the stayers firstly with Punchestowns going chasing Kasbah Bliss prob not coming over this year.Feel the race has a big Chance to a horse like CAJ if getting the trip i really hope they give this horse a chance because its a race that would really suit it wen it won the Fred winter it came off a furious pace was staying on strongly over 2 miles in the CH does everyone think im crazy for thinking this horse has a chance in this race?…But ive done my dough i think with CAJ going chasing i backed him the day after the CH becuase wen i watched the race straight away i thought SH!
Gold cup is a tricky old race to find a outsider in… i may theow a few quid at Imperial Commander at big prices just becuase of its good track form and always runs well at Chelters but feel they may go the Ryanair with the horse again!
Hi guys ive bin Away with work in America but had a very good festival and made a few quid thanx to a nice trixie with Go native Big Bucks and Zaynair and thought i would just throw up what i think Antepost ATM and see what you guys think
Firstly The CH ive backed Zaynair at double figuare odds and feel the horse could be great value on the fact he improved from race to race loves Cheltenham won the triumph and beat a good horse in Walk On (twice) also we saw what Walk On did in the novice hurdle at Aintree But at simlar odds i know which one ill be backing the horse reminds me a lot off Detroit City same profile looks etc any thoughts?
My other pick for the race is binny just on a value at the prices been a 6/1 shot atm we know he runs a good race in the CH was a tad unlucky Imo and feel the price could be offering a lot more value now rather then last year.A 6/4 shot in a race where he had a few qustions the track been the main one and feel the 6/1 is much more Realistic will improve and feel at them odds he has a excellent chance to win And the fact the horse has raced in a ch and will know more next year feel thats a bonus too
Ive chucked a few quid antepost on Crack Away Jakj for the stayers hurdle not the arke so ive prob done my money with Emma Levelle saying she is going to go chasing with him.But my theroy is this he was staying on really well off a furious pace in the CH and feel the longer trip would really suit CAJ dosent really remind me off a chaser and just hope they have had a look at this race for the horse because feel it could have a big chance and just hope the trainer has had a few thoughts bout CAJ trying a lot further any thoughts?
Ive just bin doing sun study off this race and watching sum videos and i will be backing this horse as well as Couson Vinny who ive got in many antepost bets from 6/1 to 3/1 so thats the horse i want to win the race!
But i fancy a horse called Go native who travels super smooth in his races and in all his hurdle races so far has bin swinging off the bridle two from home.Wen he raced against Hurricane fly both horses was tanking off the bride coming to the last Go native made a mistake and HF showed class speed away from the last and beat Go native by 10l….If he hadnt made that mistake he wouldnt off won but i really think maybe 5l between the pair?.
Is that good enough form to win a Supreme novices?…This fella reminds me a bit off a mini Harchibald might not find much off the bridle!..but i feel this could be going ever so well coming to the last maybe back/lay on betfair..ill def be putting it in a couple off 2£ antepost lucky 15s and prob 30£ each way on the day just becuase if it wins and spotted it would feel gutted if i hadnt backed it
Last thing i hope carberry gets the ride on him instead off madden he has got stuffed twich on him over hurdles where as carberry had won both starts including a grade two.Have a look at his Irish form and let us know what you think i think this horse could have a major chance IMO
I dont really have a strong view on the CH but ive decided for me i will back katchit win and place we all know the horse will improve leaps and bounds for the festival where he has never lost and will be there trying his heart out two from home
Yes this may not be good enough but would rather take the chance on this brave battler say then a Harchibald or a sublimity Binny is the horse to beat but if they jump the last all off the bridle and little Katchit is there with a chance i know where i would want my money to be on
My idea off the winner here is Couson vinny who i really think could be a cheltenham horse he won the champion bumper last year and has had a troubled prep this year falling last time out
I really feel the track will bring the best out off the horse and should beat these novices as he likes for me he will be rode off the pace and brought swinging off the bridle two out and will win very easily…IMO he either wins very easily or is well below par but i really believe this horse has the class and will beat these lot on his way to much better things at the festival in years to come eg best mate got stuffed in this wen was 2nd till youwillneverwalkalone and we know what that horse achived after that i think this horse has loads off potential and we havent seen the best off him yet and ill take my chances for this fella to start my festival off with a bang
My fancy for this year is Tatenen i really belive this fella has evrything to win a arkle a chaser with pace that stays over 2 miles which i think you need to do to win a arkle eg fast pace and the hill.
Wen Tatenen destroyed Straw bear over CD in december people didnt think the form was that solid with straw bear not taking to been a chaser but SB hurdle form over the CD was a to a very high standered and to beat him the way he did really impressed me
Wen he got beat over in ireland i feel the race was all wrong for the horse smallish field the course etc….i really feel if tatenen comes here showing the form he did wen he beat straw bear he can run a massive race and feel he can show his class to this lot and ive backed him for last few months wen he got pushed out for losing in ireland
Yes i never thought that Barbers shop was going to run in the Ryanair because i really feel he would be done for toe and staying on strongly as he did to Imperial commander over CD who i beleive could have claims in this years Ryanair but thats a different topic (great race)
Barbers shop i just feel the trip and the pace off the race will suit the horse down to the ground and norm a solid jumper touch wood i feel if he jumps the last within 5 lengths off the lead he will have a great chance to win the race as KS stamina zaps away i just hope he is good enough and knows enough about the game to lay up with them and like i say if hes there two out wouldnt swap my ticket for anyother
As for the break he has had since he beat battlecry and co in a small handicp chase if i remember rightly at 6/4 he didnt beat much battlecry the biggest dawg in racing history

I believe wen i left i flagged up sum poor bets and maybe sum that got a bit off value i got all the 11/2 5/1 i could on VPU to win the ryanair and im happy to see the horse is a 6/4 shot now i also advised pettifour and i learned the horse simply is not good enough…Kalhari king to win the arkle and CAJ to win the champ which ive lerned isnt good enough either enough off my waffling becuase i think i got my gold cup horse for this year!
The horse is Barbers shop from the nicky henderson team a young improving chaser who has improved from race to race he is fresh and i really believe can run a majour race.I think the furious pace and the hill at cheltenham will suit this horse down to the ground
Denman will go off at a searching gallop (for how long who knows maybe not the same horse) i honestly believe KS is the class act but a Gold cup with denman going offf like a tank will make KS make mistakes and feel it struggles to stay a really fast gold cup which i believe this race will be
I honestly believe the race will be run to suit Barbers Shop and im on at 33s win and place 25s 20s and 18s what do people think to the horses chance?….Have i gone mad over in the states lol
Thanx mate i agree but im normally ok and dont chase and sort off know what im backing already.Plus its a bit off a racing pub so sumtimes can get sum good info!.Wen pettifour wins the long walk that will be paying for all my beer and losing bets so ill be ok
.The race off the day imo and i think ascot is perfect for binny.I would rather be taking him on with CAJ at chelt on soft then asoct but hey thats how thinks have turned out.At the prices i feel CAJ is more value with me and like the fav is improving from race to race.
Ive tried to weigh the race up and this is what i can see happening wen trying to picture the race CH setting a scorching gallop.Katchit and CW getting shoved along two out staying on and Binny and CAJ on the bridle.I feel Binny may just do us for pace today but i will sick with CAJ and will not leave him now!
Right just put all my multis on done my study know what im backing so taking laptop to local pub plus sum cash (bookies next door) incase get better then bfair and going to drink lots off john smiths

I was dissapointed wen he got turned over last time out and did my dough.But just feel with a 8lb pull off level weights and the pace off the race will be different giving pettifour not as much time to think about his hurdling hopefully cutting out his mistakes that he made last time out!
Was just thinking where does the pace in the race come from?.i hope lough derg does make the running and make it a true test and tests the stamina doubts in Both henderson horses i feel that would be the best way to get them two beat and lough dergs best chance off placing becuase no pace it has no chance and will be done for toe (may as well stayed at home),But wen it placed in this race i think the second time it didnt make the running!.Does everyone think LD is a definate front runner in this and will put the pace to the race?.Anyway decent bet for me today on Pettifour hopefully get my money back on the horse i lost last time with sum profit .If he gets well beaten today will hold my hands up and say i was wrong about the horse just hope i arent!
When does denman become value??.If he wins his come back run easily then prep run before the festival what odds does he become?.I think about a 8/13 shot.With all antepost betting i try to think ahead and what i feel is going to happen and i really think denman will come back well but who knows?.ive had quite a bit off 2/1 antepost about denman and missed the 5/2 that you could off got on betfair.I just feel were short off top class 3mile plus chasers and denman wont have to be at his brilliant best also had a lot off 5/4 MM for champ chase but thats a diffrent thread
My idea off this race is VPU firstly his festival form is to a very high standerd also think the trip will suit the horse extra half mile will play into his strengths.Also he is down in grade so in theroy should find this easier then the QMCC last year and just feel this is the horses target and will run a very strong race.
Noland i feel the course dosent suit him as well as others and his jumping will be under a lot off pressure for this.Tidal bay a lot off hype about this horse but won a sub standerd Arkle chase and imo has to beat sum better rivals then he has for me wanting to back this fella (other then takeroc).Barbers shop would be intresting but feel trip will be to sharp and dont know if this is the horses intented target to be perfectly honest but a young improving chaser with solid festival form (second to fingeronhtepulse) feel it has a chance.But i will stick with VPU to prove the douters wrong and put sum over hyped horses back in there place come festival time
Yeah should off put it up but felt it was a very obvious bet today.noland always thought was a classy horse felt War off attition best days were behind him felt the trip would suit Noland better then the Arkle and felt at 2/1 was a very good price
Coming to River Liane cant be backing that on sat Watched the fred winter last year and it appeared to be struggling a long way from home.Just cant see how it can reverse form with CAJ maybe wrong but the horse needs to show sumthing and win a good race before im intrested at taking a chance albeit at juicy odds
I dont have many bets Grasshopper so bin a bit lazy not putting up the ones i do indeed back but wont be betting till sat although havent seen the chelt card on friday.Like to bet in the class races and wait till a horse i really fancy and believe that im getting value at the price……The two for sat for me are CAJ and imperial commander only thing that worries me is the poor run over 3miles wen it got stuffed by Joe lively but there the only 2 bets for me i can see………bin looking at the 13.20 on sat and thinking about maybe taking a piece on Franchoek if he runs against the henderson horse Punchestowns who won a handicap off 11-12 over CD last time and believe thats the 1 they will back.Feel ill get sum value with Franchoek who ran really well at the triumph over 2miles was staying on again so this extra half mile will suit imo so prob do them 3 in a Trixie or maybe a Patent sumthing like that
Just 1 bet for me today Noland and have decided to play up my winnings on this race and another on the card at chelt on sat.Ive decided to do two win singles CAJ to win this and Imperial Commander to win the big race and gonna double them as well anyone a bit worried about the bounce factor with IC?.Any way think its a profitable bet roll on sat where we can see sum great racing and get a lot more pointers twords the festival
