Got my eye on that one as well Moehat. Ran a good race in the Gold cup from the front.
Could take some pegging back if he can get ahead early over this trip.

Added a small bet 40/1 on Exosphere E/W. Got a feeling of an upset here and remeber Stoutes Ezzoud winning this at a crazy price a few years ago.
Actually i was having dinner the night before the races in York when he came in a bit worse for wear and was shouting his mouth of it would win. Never backed it like

I can relate to your post Steve.
I backed Idaho as well to win the Derby before that run in France 25’s beaten by Robin of Navan.
Johannes Vermeer ( what’s happened to him ? ) won the G1 beforehand and i thought the double was on but after the race more or less filed my bet for the Derby.
I dont like to aftertime but i have Idaho at 5’s to win this race and laid off my stake yesterday. Only for £20 but more in hope that the Derby form is better than people give credit for at the moment.
I hope to see a better performance on fast ground for the first time which has always been said he needs.
I am with Stilv on the fav and it looks like a professional loser!! Tripless paceless and clueless about winning!!
Seriously do you believe that ?
Without a doubt Postponed’s biggest test to date. Hopefully he puts up a good performance but i think 6/4 is very short for a horse in this company that has never won over the distance before.
Could not resist having a little bit on Found @ 60’s on the exchanges this morning.
Not a shadow of when she beat Golden Horn in the Breeders Cup, but seems to be an Autumn filly.
Late last week i noticed on Oddschecker that she was cut across the boards from 20’s to 3’1 for the Yorkshire Oaks in 2 hours. No idea if it was connections money, but if it was an improved performance may be on the cards. If she runs well you would presume Irish Champion, Arc and USA to follow.
Looks like the connections had the money down, Found best price 15-8 now for the Yorkshire Oaks
Trying to look at something to oppose Idaho in this. Just took 46’s on the exchanges with Robin of Navan.
Won over 10F in France last year and quietly fancied for the French Derby where he sustained a ligament injury during the race.
Confirmed as being aimed at the race with a run in France beforehand planned.
Had a bit on Almanzour now at 10’s. More or less confirmed for the race after today’s win.
Feel that Harzand and USAR will be better over 12F. Following that it seems Ascot Champion or the Arc is next on the agenda.

Great result for you there Steve with both coming in.
Popped into a Ladbrokes to watch the race but they did not show it. I later checked the odds for the Champion stakes and saw that he had been cut down to 10-1 and knew he had won.
Does anyone have a link to the replay?
Looks like Irish champion next stop.
I think this could cut up quite a bit, but I’m pretty sure that THE GREY GATSBY will
take his place here. He was 3rd in this last year behind Arabian Queen and Golden Horn, giving them
11lb and 8lb respectively. He was a bit disappointing in the Irish Champion Stakes, but it was maybe
late enough in his season. I think he maybe needed the run a bit in the Prince of Wales Stakes at Ascot
on his comeback, but he ran a good race behind Big Orange, who has been a revelation this year, last time
at Newmarket. Hopefully this has been the plan for a long time after his 3rd last year. If Postponed
hasn’t recovered 100% from the infection which had him miss the King George, then this is wide open.
Even if he has, then TGG is a pretty decent looking e/w bet at 12/1 (3 places at the time).Great news, Spencer is not riding

Missed the 5-1 Almanzor which was a great price Steve. Had to make do with 7/2
Great shout Raymo, Big congrats.

Interesting race in France tomorrow Prix Gontaut-biron Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes Group 2
French Derby First and second along with Ultra from the Fabre stable.
Trainer of Almanzour has stated that he will be a better horse on better ground than he faced in the French Derby so looking for a good performance from him
Stormy Antarctic out to 20’s NRNB @PP. Oh well, in for a penny and all that.
Really hope The Grey Gatsby can run a good race @ 12’s E/W.
Top class form over the distance, runs well at York and was rated 3rd best horse in the world in 2014.
Interesting he has been kept in training this year but seems up against it here on his latest form. It would be a joy to see him return to his best form at York.

Good post, it’s your money and you call the shots. Listen to no one and go with what you believe.
It’s great though to take a view on a big race and express your views to others. Right or wrong everyone respects peoples views and if they dont win then they are happy to see someone else win.
