Yup Chiswickian’s spot on, had the absolute pleasure of being at Newbury today and seeing some beautifully turned out colts. World Domination wasn’t one of them and was acting up, albeit only slightly.
Suhaili was very unfit and ran free. He’ll win next time out for sure. Kiltkurn or whatever he was called, fav in the 4.50, will also win next time out and the Brian Meehan horse who finished 4th in the 5.25, owned by Highclere and ridden by Dwyer, will win next time out. He looked ready to rumble today but a typical Meehan horse and needed the run. Voodoo Prince also needed the run but myself and my mate both expected him to run a lot better than he did. The John Dunlop colt (number 8 ) in that race should be avoided at absolutely all costs.
Must also add that in the winner’s enclosure Ton Queally got off his horse, and as he was talking to Cecil had a smirk on his face and was shaking his head. I have a feeling he was saying ‘this horse is incredible’.
Which one Frankel or World Domination?
Only saw the race through the Sporting Life site but I think Zarkava means World Domination
As I’m a huge fan of HRAC and slightly twitchy after his first few runners this season I’m hoping his season kicks off today with Frankel winning like a good thing
Richard Fahey is worried the Qipco 2000 Guineas on April 30 may come too soon for Wootton Bassett.
The unbeaten colt was taken away for a racecourse gallop over the weekend and took a good blow after it, leaving Fahey to conclude that he may not be fit enough to do himself justice in the first Classic of the season.
The son of Iffraaj missed some ground work earlier in the year and the Malton handler is concerned that is now beginning to show.
"There’s nothing wrong, but we just might be running out of time and the race is catching up with us," said Fahey.
"We’re going to hopefully get him away in the next eight or nine days because he took a good blow the other day.
"He’s in the French and Irish Guineas as well. The main thing is he’s got to be 100%.
"He’s won on all ground so that would have no baring on our decision.
"In this modern day you’ve got to let people know. I might be doing it wrong and in the next eight or nine days I might be 100% happy, but he just took a good blow the other day.
"He missed ground work, you can’t replace ground work."

Richard Fahey getting cold feet
Get well soon Peter
As a big Cecil fan I too am looking forward to seeing some of these hyped unraced 3 year olds. None more so than World Domination and Air Traffic (full brother to Aviate) but also Midsummer Sun (Midday’s half brother). Is a massive ask to go from unraced maiden to Derby winner however so probably best to look at those that have run.
As I’m new to this forum and I don’t want to step on someone’s toes like you I’m a big Cecil fan Have you heard if Henry has any nice fillies that could be in the classic shake up in 2011

Hope HRAC wins this and gets his rightful knighthood. As has already been posted I think Picture Editor will be his Derby horse. Can’t see Frankel getting the trip.
