I agree with you totally on this amigo – she met with minor setbacks before but was always thought of being something special !

Well I think we are better off having bets on the weather – I think both Battersea and Watersmeet would prefer fast ground and when you get information from the Racing Post going good to soft going stick 8.6 what are you supposed to do ?

It was a localised storm at Haydock and the clerk of the course had been under tremendous pressure to water from trainers because of the firm ground.
Ryan Moore reported back that Penhill didn’t like the undulations at Newmarket last time so the plan was always to run here as he wouldn’t get into the big handicap at Ascot, yes Battersea was impressive at Ascot last year but I suggest you take a look at the Ripon race on ATR that Penhill won last year on soft ground.

What about Goodyearforroses her dam also trained by Rae Guest finished 5th in the Oaks and she beat Star of Seville nicely in her maiden.

This is my first post but have had the pleasure of reading your opinions for a long time.

I too have been looking for news of Migwar having had a bit on at fancy prices on Betfair – I liked the look of his run back in March and feel he could step up on better ground and being by Sea the Stars out of a sister of Rule of Law who won the Leger would be suited by the Derby trip.
I can find no news of him since he was supplemented for our Derby on 9th April and looking at French entries he missed a race on the 4th April with a vets certificate so I think he will not be coming – there have been crazy prices on Betfair also.
He has recently been entered for the Arc though.
