Brian H is offering 6-1
what did Down say Mo ?
Barmy news .
I went down to the paddock and the Booster looked fit but not at concert pitch . They crawled all the way round and he was virtually in a half Nelson . I was shouting let him go on .
When RB pulled Johnson’s arms out last year he let him go at the top of the hill and he won . Why did he not do it today ? He would have hacked up . Perhaps in future they should run Do L’Enfant D Eau as a pacemaker .
Despite the deliberate crawl set by Walsh the Booster was in front when he got the last all wrong – he would probably have won but for that mistake .
RC once again shone off a slowish pace – if he really has been made CH fav for winning a 2m 4f slowly run handicap hurdle on very soft ground when he was 7lb well in the world is barmy .
What price is the Booster ?

His knees knocked when he was shown the CH video
A good field tomorrow to take on the Booster .
Flame Creek ( surely a candidate for that overrated horse of the year thread )
Rooster Booster
The French Furze
Rigmarole ( RW rides DM after all)
Specular
Davenport Millenium
Hasty Prince
Spirit Leader
The latter gets 11lb from the Booster .
She to me is the only real threat receiving such alot of weight unless Specular is an Aussie Sea Pigeon
getting excited now – go go go the Booster
Ruby will ride him rather than DM according to the SL site .
Come on the Booster !
Is that why they are putting that bucket of cold water JP Magnier on top ?
12 runners
RB
Spirit Leader
Mr Cool
Geos
Specular
Flame Creek
Davenport Millnium
Rigmarole
Hasty Prince
The French Furze
Chivalry
Tom Paddington
A very easy win for the Booster surely if he is in his CH form
Mo – one good thing is that the stable has returned to form
4 winners in the last three days and cracking efforts by Double Honour , Flagship Uberalles and Shalako
Am worried to hear that he has been coughing
Steve Miller wrong :o :o :o :o :o :o
NEVER
scary stuff on the Sl site for RB haters
"The Bula Hurdle is the plan for Rooster Booster," Hobbs said on Thursday. "The ground was a bit too quick at Newcastle and also it was going to cause us jockey problems as we knew Richard (Johnson) was going to be at Newbury.
"It didn’t really suit the owner (Terry Warner) as well come to that so it was easier to wait for Cheltenham."
Plenty of trainers have been forced to delay the seasonal reappearance of their stable stars due to a lack of rain and unsuitable ground.
But Hobbs has had few opportunities to run Rooster Booster due to the grey’s vast improvement during the last campaign.
"Rooster Booster is now rated 170 and there just aren’t the options for him that there were last year – that’s the only difference," he explained.
Despite Rooster Booster having risen almost a stone and a half in the ratings since the beginning of last season, Hobbs is cautiously optimistic that his charge may find further improvement during this campaign.
"Everything is possible – he improved enormously last year so we hope that he might have done again
If sacundai " rolled over " Rb it was a different race to the one I was watching .
On form the other horses have a big mountain to climb . Rooster Booster remains much the most likely winner of the Champion . If in last year’s form there is only one winner
The ground was very testing at Aintree and the Booster did not stay -compounded by Johnson dropping his whip .
Watch the race though he cantered up to them – if the race was over 2m he would have won in a canter nixer .
OK the Bula may show that he has regressed . I doubt it and if he has not there is only one winner of the CH
Intelligent chap this grasshopper
oops
11 lengths is a lot to make up Colin .
Furthermore, of the novices none of them is a Group 2 winner like Alderbrook
