NAP – Shishkin, watch tomorrows race for reasons

LAY – Klassical Dream, Stayers, plenty of decent bullets running against it

EACH WAY – Energumene, 14’s Ryanair, gets rerouted after trailing behind Shishkin

NAP – Galopin Des Champs, flying machine

LAY – Bob Olinger, I’ve not been impressed over fences

EACH WAY – Porticello in the Triumph, barring a fall there’s no way he doesn’t finish in the first three

NAP – Honeysuckle. No points for originality but she is far superior to any of her competition. Would need to fall or not make it to the festival to lose, surely.

LAY – Fil Dor. It looks an uninspiring year for juvenile hurdlers but there must be something better out there than Fil Dor over 2 miles on spring ground.

EACH WAY – Magic Daze in the Arkle. I really think she will come alive on spring ground over 2 miles. Henry the new king of Cheltenham in recent years, knows how to get them ready. 50s in most places.

Nap Honeysuckle , I’ve a few e.w against here but the only thing beating her is a hurdle

Lay Bob Olinger , he was a lot better over his fences last time but while he no doubt has a engine I’m not truely convinced his jumping will stand up

Each way Fiddlerontheroof , wide wide open GC and I’ve Galvin well covered but I really like this lad , he,s consistent and ran a cracker in the Ladbroke were the front 2 were miles in front of the others , ran well behind Monkfish last year and he relished the hill at Carlisle at the start of the season , I have him well covered and will keep playing till March

Nap. Honeysuckle. My favourite NH horse looks the number 1 banker.

Lay. Fil Dor. Needs soft ground imo to stand a winning chance and even then Willie may have one or two up his sleeve.

Each Way. Echoes In Rain. 12-1 looks big in the County Hurdle.

Vauban in the triumph. Especially over the new course. Will demolish the ground over the last 3 furlongs and win handsomely.

E/w. The wolf. (Ultima) Improved form from last year, is a better jumper now and arguably unlucky not to be running off a double penalty and instead gets in 4lb below its mark when finishing 6th in the race last year.

Lay. Facile vega. Anyone who thinks it’s sensible to be taking odds on in a race of complete unknowns is a fool.

    LAY:

Facile Vega. Not the first overrated bumper horse. The other one at prohibitive odds would be Shishkin. Just because Nicky trained Sprinter Sacre and Altior doesn’t put him in the same league.

NAP: Constitution Hill. Might be even a decent price against Sir Gerhard and Jonbon.

EW: Indefatigable in the Stayers. Likes the track and stays all day.
