After being an average punter over the last few years, I have decided to start tracking all my bets and my profit and loss. I have decided to do it on here as well to keep my motivation up. I will run this until the end of Royal Ascot next year. I will be doing monthly profit and loss detailing in those monthly posts how each week went. I aim to break even!
My first few bets are my anteposts I placed this week:

Sea The Stars – I don’t really like this horse, he has beaten me in the 2000 guineas and the epsom derby, so if you cant beat them join them. I think he will be very difficult to beat in the Eclipse
Hatton Flight – Having followed this horse since the start of the year he has been good to me, but watching his jockey fall off when coming out of the stalls on hius last run wasn’t great but I will side with him again at that price
Fame And Glory – My favourite 3YO in training, I still think he should have won the derby and I backed him in the irish version. I think he has everything you want in an Arc horse, and you can assure I will be topping those Arc bets up later in the year
Hurricane Fly – I think this is a very good horse, he will take the beating in the champion hurdle if he gets to Cheltenham this year and I think that he will go off a lot shorter.

Today is a very strange race for me, after singing Rainbow View’s praises all winter, I have lost an awful lot of money this year on this horse, trying to get my money back with every race. I have simply given up on the horse!
I am very intrested though in Goldikova who seems to be ooozing class with an extra O!
I honestly do not know what I am betting with, my heart or my head. But something keeps telling me Rainbow View…

My biggest tip so far. I really, really fancy KYLLACHY STAR.
Last time out he was never happy in running and was left when the others kicked for home, he then found trouble and it looked like the horse was never going to get there. But the further the race went the better he got. He went away with every stride at the end.
So stepping up to the mile is the obvious step forward and up him in class to get a bit of a price. Will go very close

After thought. A terrible day where I shouldnt have had a bet. Woke up with a hangover and just flicked through the cards. a 1/2 favourite and a 6/4 favourite turned over, and an 11/4 pulled up. I need to start getting some restriction with my betting. I am not disciplined enough when I am approaching this. Time for some sleep.

Overall P+L -26.30 PointsAfter thought… I have hit the post 3 times in the last 3 days with 3 second place finishes at decent prices. I don’t feel it is a decent enough price to back each way though. Lets hope one can last to the line soon, allowing me to turn my losses into profits. I am not too worried about the losses at the moment as my selections have been knocking on the door and not being tailed off. Lets hope for some luck!
