I went through them, just as a matter of interest to see how few “double figure draws” there were. Only 15 out of a possible 84. It definitely made a difference at this meeting.August 24, 2024 at 18:07 #1705790It looked being a close run thing until Lake Forrest decided to rear up in the stalls. At least she is well and will fight another day but being withdrawn meant that Nathan and Tracey were on BREEGE and with fifty points for the win it pretty much put Nathan out of sight
And then to put the icing on the cake for him so to speak he goes nd naps Elmonjed which definitely sealed the deal although Catherine did have a squeak in the last but Cockalorum could only manage fourth which sealed the podium finish for Catherine ahead of some reprobate LOLBrilliant tipping Nathan with over a hundred on the final day
Well done to the boss for scoring 80 pts on the final day and finishing second overall too
And well done Catherine (Tonge) for being consistent and filling the final podium place.
Special mention for Andre (Euroalien) for a fine score of 68 pts on the last day tooThanks everyone for taking part and making it enjoyable for us too
And finally well done Trace just too goo d for me
P.S. I think being a stats man is rubbing off on the boss LOL
August 24, 2024 at 18:18 #1705791Wow Nathan what a fantastic last day you had..well done for winning the York Ebor Competition Now you have to win The Daylight and make it a double. You’re in such top form I think both Landafar and myself are quaking at the knees at that thought..lol🤣😂
Tracey (Mrs Raymo) how did you manage such a high score with one eye on the columns, truly incredible and Catherine (Tonge) I think you were mowing them all down swiftly at the end and could have done with just one more day.
Raymo you just got in front of early Leader Refuse To Bend who went a bit wobbly after his eye watering result on Day 1 but still managed 5th position..just shows you must never give up hope even on the last day.
Many thanks to the Raymo’s for running this, nobody does it quite like you with your magic columns and super fast results.
Look forward to the next one..
Jac xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 24, 2024 at 18:20 #1705792Well done Nathan a great performance today and the runners up . Thank you to the Raymos always great fun, I led for three days but not when it mattered
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
August 24, 2024 at 18:21 #1705793Well done Nathan on achieving a brilliant score today and for getting 1st place on the leader board!
Congratulations to Tonge for maintaining your place on the podium – you must have been using superglue because you have managed to stay there all week!
Finally, commiserations to Refuse to Bend – you hung in there valiantly every day until today. One thing you can take away from this competition is that you achieved the highest daily score of anyone over the four days, so well done you
Thank you to everyone who took part – we wouldn’t have an exciting competition without all of you taking part
August 24, 2024 at 18:38 #1705796Thanks Tracey. Well done you and Nathan for fantastic final day scores and congratulations to Nathan for a well-deserved victory. I just plugged on at the one pace! Got to feel for Refuse To Bend though.
Many thanks for running this
