    Wretched day for racing, and Daryl Jacob in particular with Yalltari also lost at Ascot today. Thought he’d just refused at the last but obviously suffered an injury.

    So sad to see this loss confirmed as well, dreadful day, poor
    Daryl losing 2 of his mounts.

    Very bad day for racing, considering this was the 9th fatality in seven days. And those were only the ones we all witnessed. I hope we have better days ahead, especially at the Festivals.

    He was home-bred by Venetia herself, that’s really tough.

    Daryl also sat on the ill-fated Eau Top at Lingfield four days ago.

    Must have been heartbreaking for Venetia Williams and Daryl Jacob. Feel so sad for everyone today and the loss of so many horses.

    Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...
