Big entry for this comp and lots of new faces – many thanks everyone. Trying to catch up with the scoring here but struggling!

Here’s the Day 1 leaderboard and you really needed to have Thousand Stars to figure. Here are those with 50+ points.

    1. Bobhorse 84.5 pts
    2. Rubyisgodinthsaddle 80.5 pts
    3. Double the Trouble 78.5 pts
    4. Zebra 75.75 pts
    5. Non Vintage 75 pts
    5. Halldori 75 pts
    7. Free Radical 73.25 pts
    8. Maxi777 70.5 pts
    9. Bampi 68.75 pts
    10. Chloed 68.75 pts
    11. Rob North 51.5 pts

Still all to play for with plenty big-priced runners capable of getting into a place.

Very many thanks to everyone who played this –

hopefully it added a little to your enjoyment of a great week at Cheltenham.

Here are the final scores. Very well done to

    Rob North

who wins the first prize, which was a framed photo of Kauto Star. However, Rob, Tracy of http://www.turfpix.com had a word with me during the week and said that you can choose ANY picture from her site (and she has a brand new one of Long Run taking the last yesterday from Kauto Star and Denman which is brilliant – not sure if it’s on their site yet but it is def on the Turfpix facebook page.)

Very many thanks to Tracy and http://www.turfpix.com for their very kind sponsorship. Tracy has a brilliant eye and has some great photos, visit her site at http://www.turfpix.com as there are some great pictures which you can purchase online.

Thanks again to everyone who played – a fantastic total entry of 73 players made for a very competitive event and a very worthy winner. Rob, sed me a pm/email with your choice of photo and we’ll sort out the prize for you.

    Again, thanks to all players

Gutted, got the two big priced ones in the right order.

Unfortunately Rob went one better with three in the right order.

Well Done and thanks to those who ran the comp and provided the prize for the winner.

    Grey Desire

You were nearer to winning than you may think. I had computer problems Thursday evening and couldn’t lodge my entry for the Gold Cup. Fortunately I made time before leaving for work on Friday, and I needed it since What A Friend was the clincher.

I paid attention to my outsider in each race as I realised this was the key. If all the favourites had been placed I’d have been stuffed, but there’s always one or two at fancy prices thereabouts.

If it’s any consolation to the rest of you I was absolutely dire in the main Cheltenham tipping competition!

This is Tracy’s Long Run pic Rob. Jumping the last – stunning picture IMO.

That one will do just fine, David. It will sit nicely on the opoosite wall to my print of Istabraq.
