Some might remember this fella running in chases out of Jonjo O’Neil’s yard.
News in a recent Horse and Hound that he broke a leg at the Ledbury opening meet and had to be put down.
Was having a great retirement hunting, team chasing, winning and being placed in the Golden Button Challenge (think he won the first or second running).
Saw him win very impressively at Chepstow, and backed him for Welsh National ante post. I was very, very confident, but he headed to Leapordstown instead, where he more than won me my money back. Happy days! Headed to Haydock for De Vere Gold Cup, but he ran no sort of race, and was never the same again.
