It was a great performance today, BB, but your namesake would have just landed on the otherside of the last as Binocular crossed the line.

March 18, 2010 at 16:06 #283672Paul Nicholls wants to keep the horse fresh, but wouldn’t it be interesting to see him run in the Martell Hurdle over two miles-four, possibly against the likes of Zaynar?
March 18, 2010 at 16:16 #283674For me that should be it over hurdles now. Overall I mean. Sure finish the season off and the race you suggest would be great.
But he’s an absolutely superstar and "wasted" in the World Hurdle against handicappers, old stagers, and hounds.
Yes he has had jumping issues and as ruby says he doesn’t "go for a long one" when asked but that’s all part of the challenge for a horse with immense ability.
March 18, 2010 at 16:58 #283680An absolute beauty to look at and the sooner he goes back over fences the better, that way he will get the credit he deserves!Beating "Rupert" doesn"t do him justice!Well played all those who got 3/1
March 18, 2010 at 17:02 #283682And all credit to my old pal Powerstation finishing third yet again.

Badly lame, out for the season definitely.
March 18, 2010 at 19:53 #283731Shame for Katchit. Hopefully we see him race again. I’d love to see Big Bucks take on the Gold Cup. Next year will be too much for Kauto and Denman both getting older. Let him take that chance I say! Best horse in training as far as I’m concerned.
March 18, 2010 at 19:57 #283732That’s the first I’d heard of Katchit, not good news. Lovely little horse, hope he makes a full recovery. Big Buck’s was awesome and I was so glad to see him win like that- about time a good thing came out and did the business at this festival!
