    ARGENTINA 9/2 To win it

With Aguero,Higuian up front and Messi just behind them not forget Angel Di Maria who i think be star of world cup.Garay had great season at Benfica i see them going all the way to play a rival from South America in final.

    URUGUAY 33/1 EW

With Suraez and Cavani up front and Godin i see them going all the way think they go one place further than last world cup.

    GONZALO HIGUIAN 22/1 TOP SCORER

Had a great season in naples and scores as many goals for national team than Messi played 3 fewer games in group stages one goal behind Messi.

    LUIS SUAREZ 25/1

May miss 1st game but if he does i still see him up there been amazing for Liverpool this season.

    JACKSON MARTINEZ 80/1

With injury to Falcao he will take over as main forward for COLOMBIA and they need to deliver and i think he can.

ANGEL DI MARIA 33/1 Player of the tournament

Top season for Real Madrid was MOM in champions league final and can be one of the reasons why Argentina will win world cup.

Brazil vs Croatia 1st scorer NEYMAR 7/2

Though a injury concern he is i think he be one of the stars of World cup.And can bag 1st goal here.

MEXICO VS Cameroon. 1st scorer Orbie Peralta 11/2

Plays in Mexico but is best player in World cup that not play in Europe a top player he is and i think score 1st for Mexico.

Italy vs England. 1st scorer Cirro Immobile 8/1

Rumours italy may play Balotelli on his own i hope not because this Immobile top scorer in serie a is a top player off to Dortmund in summer a player England need to watch for if he starts.

Also suprised no one else made a post here what you guys bets for world cup.

Darren there’s another thread where a few of us have our bets https://theracingforum.co.uk/horse-r … =3&t=94924.

I fancy the Germans and have backed them accordingly,Reus’ Injury is a bit of a kick in the nuts as he’s a real star but i still think they’re good enough if coping with conditions. I have a few top goalscorer bets too,the Main one’s Fred, then ive a smaller bet on Balotelli and also a very small bet on Kerzhakov as i can see Russia doing well as long as they get Portugal in the 2nd round and not the Germans.

Wouldn’t be overly surprised to see Croatia run Brazil close tomorrow,Rakitic and Modric are 2 midfielders as good as any in the world and with Brazil likely to be nervous with such a weight of expectation on their back i can see a cagey affair and i might just back Croatia with a goal headstart

darren; I’m completely out of touch with football these days [even confused a but when all the games are going to be played] but now I’m retired I can stay up late and watch the matches. So any pointers as to who’s playing, who to look out for, where they usually play etc would be most welcome. Alas, the only player I’m really looking forward to seeing is Ronaldo [never thought 4 years ago I’d be saying that]. It’ll be interesting to see how the European players cope with the heat etc.

Spain vs Holland. Iniesta to score 1st 12/1

Not had best season at Barca but with country can score 1st goal here got winner in final 4years ago.Can do score 1st here.

Chilie vs Australia. Eduruardo Vargas 11/2 1st scorer

With doubts over Vidal and Sanchez i think Vargas can score 1st had decent season at Fiorentina and could do well at world cup because more people will look out for Sanchez rather than him.

Had no idea there was another world cup thread

Moehat anything you like to know i think teams from South America do well here players like Vargas for Chilie. Also whoever Colombia pick up front to replace Falcao like Jackson Martiniez or Bacca who plays in Spain for Sevilla.

Alright mate. I like Germany myself. Chile and holland are big prices, though i expect one of them might have to play brazil in the last 16 if they qualify. I think England will get beat 1-0 by italy, and go out in the group stages. Hills went evens for brazil to beat croatia, so i had 20 quid on them.

I am shocked and appalled for my Croatian brothers.

Neymar should have been sent off for that elbow
    2 penalty shouts
    P!ss weak penalty
    Perfectly legit goal disallowed

A completely dismal performance from the officials.

I am veritably in the "Anybody but Brazil" camp and that’s discounting the fact they killed eight labourers in order to host a competition they genuinely can’t afford.

Such a sour start to the world cup.

I didn’t enjoy watching that game  I hate it when player score own goals; I feel embarrassed for them. So I didn’t want him to be resposible for Brazil losing, but I didn’t particularly want them to win either.

The best bit was when the ref paint sprayed the grass.

Is that the first time you’ve seen that?

If so, then you clearly haven’t stayed awake past three in the morning watching the Campeonato on B365 livestream as Palmeiras utterly destroy your £1 roll-up/monthly food budget.

Might as well give Brazil the trophy now if that is how all their games are going to be refereed. That was embarrassing from the officials, Croatia had no chance.

Looking forward to Spain/Holland tonight. If that isn’t a good game then there’s no hope for the next few weeks.

Uruguay vs Costa Rica. Diego Godin 1st scorer 33/1

Game will be a scrappy game and goal can come from a set piece. And Godin had good season and scored goals from the back could do it again.

COLOMBIA VS GREECE. Jackson Martinez 11/2

Not sure if he starts but if he does he be a handfull for Greece pace and power and scores goals.

Ivory Coast vs Japan 1st scorer.DIDER DROGBA 11/2

Best ever player for Ivory Coast be his last ever tournament at this level and can get Ivory Coast off to a great start.

What you guys think of Mexico game and so far 2out of 2 on 1st scorers with Neymar and Peralta.

Yes Moe, own goals don’t count in first goalscorer bets that is why if you ever bet 0-0 it’s best to bet no goalscorer instead as they always seem to be the same odds but you get the slight edge in case of an own goal(s)
