Does anyone know which of tonight’s runners has the quickest first sectional from either of their last two runs? The pace will be furious and I reckon the horse with the quickest first sectional will have a big advantage
February 8, 2008 at 18:53 #141348If the pace genuinely is testing then Id have to be on Norwegian
February 8, 2008 at 19:13 #141351No idea about sectional timing but I think the winner will be one of two horses.
Mambazo or Triskaidekophobia.
February 8, 2008 at 19:40 #141359Was Mambazo that horse that was ridden from the front at Kempton, then dropped out the back and never put in the race by William Carson next time out?
It’ll be interesting to see how he’s ridden tonight…
February 8, 2008 at 19:46 #141360Thats the one. Jockey got a ban or fine I think.
February 8, 2008 at 19:46 #141361What was I doing there? I was looking at the 820 wolverhampton tomorrow, Triskadekaphobia is very good on his day and can never be written off at this level but Im leaning towards crimson fearn. Those would be my two.
February 8, 2008 at 20:13 #141373I’ve just got this feeling that Mambazo is going to hack up, though the fact that Matt Doyle has napped him relieves my concerns somewhat.
It’s not that great a race in all honesty, and certainly not one to get too involved with (unless you’re Stuart Williams and have an inkling as to who might win), but I’d risk Dodaa given a chance to lead early.
February 8, 2008 at 20:20 #141374Funny race that……….forcast Crimson Fern at 13/8 and the second fav at 4/1 but he has been withdrawn………betting open up and Crimson Fern is 9/4 money obviously for mabazo cos they think he was stopped last time………..I’d bet the fav personally CF therse so called stopping jobs never win………..too obvius and more to it when carson rode it I reckon.
February 8, 2008 at 20:25 #141376Well I was half right which is why I seldom bet on the flat

I appear to have spelt Multahab incorrectly.

Will be interesting to see how fast they actually went – the sectionals section of the RP tomorrow will reveal all – because it appeared to the naked eye as if the two that laid down the early pace went ridiculously fast, and, inevitably, they both fell into a whole in the stretch.
