English Oak looked like a horse that is going places last time at Haydock. He will be dropping back in distance if he runs here but he did not look short of pace and he still holds an entry in the July Cup. Took 10/1.
I have also had to back my current cliff horse: Ozario at 18/1.

APOLLO ONE so consistent, deserves a big one. 2nd in this race last year, 2nd in the Stewards cup, good efforts elsewhere. Probably got a bit bogged down in sticky-ish drying good to soft ground at Epsom latest so return to fast conditions can suit. Not enamored with the draw but nothing much stood out to me here so just the one bet please. 14/1
Terrible recent record in this, and thought about leaving it alone. Went with two in the end though.
Apologies for the price put up on Torivega, as it’s gone now. I bet most of the Lavery runners who travel over, and though I’m happy that the price is wrong, I’m still surprised to see as much support. Big issue for me here is that when I put one up when the price is long gone they always get stuffed.
Desert Cop is a horse I bet occasionally, and almost bet him at 33’s in May. But I didn’t. Probably missed him for the season now, but he’s got a chance I think

Torivega 33’s EW 8Pls/40’sHad another long hard look and don’t want to be just on one especially when drawn stall 4. Of the high numbers I;ll give FIVETHOUSANDTOONE a shot. He ran OK in a group 2 last time, that was after a nice prize on AW finals day. That form has worked out well so even though the handicapper has shat on him he still has plenty going for him.
