wm hill have locked my account. there is no change in my betting patterns, and not a lot of money (couple of hundred quid) in the account. but without warning i have been locked out. customer services say they are unable to help. anyone else had this sort of problem? and how do you get your money back?
October 7, 2015 at 21:05 #1215891I’d contact your solicitor Mr. Curley.

Are you talking about a phone or internet account Terry?
How did you pay in to the account in the first place? From my experience your £200 should be repaid to your bank account in the same way as you paid in.It is often done automatically when accounts are closed, so you might like to check your bank statement. If not in there, then ring William Hill’s telephone line giving your name and bookmaker account number. Then ask to be put through to the relevent department. They should be able to repay the money immediately.
Accounts are often closed when a punter’s average bet beats SP by over 20%, not always anything to do with a winning account.
Value Is EverythingOctober 8, 2015 at 22:26 #1216409Often accounts are closed ( in my experience) plainly and simply because they are not profitable for the bookmaker concerned.
The reasons can be very varied, I had a ladbrokes account closed purely and simply because I was betting ” each way filth”.
As Ginge says I had another account closed because I was consistently beating the SP.
All I would advise you to do is contact them to make sure you get your money back and then if possible analyse your betting patterns not just from a profit and loss point of view but also from a type of bets or even kind of races aspect.Good luck and I hope you get your money soon.
