I don’t know what they’ll do but Willie doesnt have anything better here and the front of this market is still not to be feared even after todays defeat for Lossiemouth. But the difference is State Man is out injured. Constitution Hill is, on the face of it, fit and well and able to run. He just can’t jump.
What is there in the Champion Hurdle now? Elliot’s horse has no Cheltenham form. Shelton’s horse looks slow and would have been laughed at by the Hill in his prime. Anzadam showed what he is worth today.
It looks to me like the so called lucky Golden Ace has a tremendous chance of becoming a two-time winner.
Imo Lossie should run here. The suspicion is she wasn’t at her best today and this race looks quite open this year so why not give it a go.

No chance Lossiemouth runs here. Mullins, Townend and Walsh were all clearly lukewarm about the idea even before today. They will be stone cold about it now.
Sadly agree , Mullins now doesn’t have a Champion hurdle horse in a very winnable Champion , I wonder if a few smaller yards will have a punt here , Jesus does Nicholls have a go with Rubaud !!

I said penalty kick earlier but I forgot about Wodhooh. She won’t be much easier to beat in the Mares than beating the main protagonists in this who are also mostly mares.
After a mare last year Elliott might have a decent festival , he needs it
