Cheers Oscar I hadn’t checked any of the non championship races

February 1, 2026 at 15:27 #1753032It must be the Mares Hurdle for Lossiemouth after this defeat.
Elliott has just confirmed that the winner goes for the Champion, all being well.
February 1, 2026 at 15:28 #1753035For both ?
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 15:30 #1753037If Constitution Hill could still jump, he would be around 1/10 for this renewal. Maybe shorter. Henderson and Buckley must be cursing their luck.
February 1, 2026 at 15:31 #1753038I fancy Wille will dictate where Lossie goes whereas Brighterdaysahead will be owner input
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
February 1, 2026 at 15:54 #1753057I don’t know what they’ll do but Willie doesnt have anything better here and the front of this market is still not to be feared even after todays defeat for Lossiemouth. They are all beatable, no superstar and it could be a bumper sized field here. Just depends on if they want the mares penalty kick again
February 1, 2026 at 16:05 #1753065CAS I’ll take your argument and say State Man would be 1-20 as he destroyed the hill last summer …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 16:11 #1753071But the difference is State Man is out injured. Constitution Hill is, on the face of it, fit and well and able to run. He just can’t jump.
What is there in the Champion Hurdle now? Elliot’s horse has no Cheltenham form. Shelton’s horse looks slow and would have been laughed at by the Hill in his prime. Anzadam showed what he is worth today.
It looks to me like the so called lucky Golden Ace has a tremendous chance of becoming a two-time winner.
February 1, 2026 at 16:11 #1753072Because Constitution Hill clearly ran to his best that day.
Jesus wept…
February 1, 2026 at 16:14 #1753075When Glad , what race are you talking about
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 16:14 #1753076Imo Lossie should run here. The suspicion is she wasn’t at her best today and this race looks quite open this year so why not give it a go.
February 1, 2026 at 16:16 #1753077I agree Mike but Mullins now has his excuse …. and he’ll use it
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 16:21 #1753081No chance Lossiemouth runs here. Mullins, Townend and Walsh were all clearly lukewarm about the idea even before today. They will be stone cold about it now.
February 1, 2026 at 16:31 #1753085Sadly agree , Mullins now doesn’t have a Champion hurdle horse in a very winnable Champion , I wonder if a few smaller yards will have a punt here , Jesus does Nicholls have a go with Rubaud !!
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 16:33 #1753086I said penalty kick earlier but I forgot about Wodhooh. She won’t be much easier to beat in the Mares than beating the main protagonists in this who are also mostly mares.
February 1, 2026 at 16:35 #1753090After a mare last year Elliott might have a decent festival , he needs it
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 16:38 #1753091The 2 mile hurdling division has fallen apart for Willie. I still think that Poniros could be okay at 20/1 EW. He wasn’t suited by today’s ground and badly needed the run.
