March 18, 2006 at 08:37 #70118Looking likes its arturius who is drifting a wee bit at the moment with Cimyla showing a wee bit of interest (not much)
March 18, 2006 at 08:42 #70119At 8-40 Compton Bolter is showing a wee bit support (not much but enough to move into 18-00 but now out to 24.00
March 18, 2006 at 08:43 #70120not only that! when they reviewed the race cimyla wasnt even mentioned, now i call that odd!
March 18, 2006 at 13:58 #70123ultimate, youre not suggesting shenanigans surely! lol
March 18, 2006 at 15:21 #70124Sri Diamond wins The Winter Derby
Trainer S Kirk
Jockey J P Spencer
Price 8/1
2nd Grand Passion 9/1
3rd Nayyir 13/2
Nayyir looked a wee bit unlucky

March 18, 2006 at 15:27 #70125I liked it but ddn’t think it could win from stall 14.
March 18, 2006 at 16:29 #70126here here ultimate, bit of an anti climax for sure
March 18, 2006 at 19:36 #70127im a real advocate of aw but i must admit thats pretty embarrassing for a group 3
March 19, 2006 at 18:57 #70128UM,
Agree with you.
The problem is the Lingfield AW track which consistently brings hard luck stories.
Factors:
1.Short run in to the first bend in 10 f races
2. Low draw usually plays a significant advantage
3. Short run in off the final bend causes bunching
4. Far easier to come from off the pace on the new polytrack surface so potential front runners think they are setting it up for any finisher able to get a run.
Yesterday’s Group 3 was a farce, won admittedly from an outside draw off a funereal pace with lots of bunching and interference e.g. Nayir didn’t get a run and Fortune got a few days ban.
The new Kempton track is reportedly less tight and much fairer.
March 19, 2006 at 20:20 #70129i think im going to stick to the sprints from now on
March 19, 2006 at 21:01 #70130I’d picked Sri Diamond because I was so impressed with him last time out, so I was chuffed to bits with his run, but I agree he was lucky.
March 20, 2006 at 07:48 #70131ha ha i dont beleive that for a moment ultimate im sure you a most shrewd punter!
