April 17, 2011 at 19:48 #350809Poor Willy, just as he was coming onto the scene too! Not a great month for the jockeys.
Willie is a jockey to watch in the future i feel, i have never seen a jockey sit as well as he does on a horse! and hes only 16.
April 17, 2011 at 19:51 #350811Hope they are all ok and make swift recoveries.

April 17, 2011 at 23:47 #350855Is it just me or has the rate of injuries to jockeys skyrocketed ?.

couldn’t agree more, i think if he stays on the jumps or goes to the flat, (cause he must do those weights easy, he’s tiny) he could be one of the best ever. Who knows.
Fingers x’d he recovers quickly, according to s t-d’s twitter doctors couldn’t get him to shut up talking for love nor money and he’s getting operated on tomorrow, so should be all better for a good flat/jumps season.
