Back to form and a climb up the table for Acadmey as they romped to a 7-1 home win over Rothes.
Goalscorers were Craig Shearer, Alex ‘Chopper’ Lamb, Richard McAdie got two but pride of place went to new signing Sam MacKay who grabbed a hat-trick and made himself an instant hit with the Harmsworth Park regulars.

Great result….hopefully a really entertaining encounter unlike most Premier League games. I’m very much in favour of supporting and promoting Non-League Football…..real football, real fans…..Good Luck Accies.

If the lads carry on like this Zeeky & Hughes could be up for the Big Job should Burley get the boot…..Hold on…I wonder if they’d fancy a move down to the south coast….there may be a job going at Portsmouth.
September 14, 2009 at 19:22 #248843A solid result against one of the perennial duffers of the Highland League.
Forumites might wish to keep an eye out for the fixture at home to Buckie Thistle on Saturday October 3rd. A Buckie follower going by the handle of ‘buckiejagsman’ has been posting highlights Buckie Thistle games on Youtube, so fingers crossed we’ll have a chance to see Wick in action.
