He has the best 1m4f form on a flat track, it is his ideal trip and he’ll like the way the race will be run.
Any chances for him to be supplemented?
I would like to see him against the three excellent mares/fillies that are heading the market now. Though Enable should be almost double the odds she is right now.September 15, 2020 at 09:26 #1501600He could be supplemented on Sept 30th, but the fee is 72,000 euros. He’d need to finish fifth just to get that back in prize money, and there’s no prize money at all for any horse finishing outside the first five.

How will it be run?
September 15, 2020 at 11:18 #1501607You have to ask the lads sporting sam. They know everything.
One can assume a very fast pace, you would war to have Enable out of her comfort zone.
It would suit Pyledriver in many ways, but if there is just five places there is no way he will run.September 15, 2020 at 11:44 #1501608If anyone was confident about him any price would be fine to supplement him surely?
Who are the lads?
Not Ballydoyle!September 15, 2020 at 12:27 #1501610The lads are always Ballydoyle and they always know the tactics applied before the race.
September 15, 2020 at 13:22 #1501612I think Pyledriver is a grand horse.
I dont think the stable have made the best use of him.
Funnily enough Logician won the race on the opposite side last season.
The lads have more horses at their disposal to be fair.September 15, 2020 at 13:37 #1501614The owners and trainer had a plan. The St Leger followed by the Champion Stakes. To give the owners some nice days out.
Maybe its the space between the races, and/or they don’t want the hassle of going to France against Love?
September 15, 2020 at 13:59 #1501616Yes. He is their horse and they are having fun with him.
September 15, 2020 at 15:48 #1501621I’m trying to figure out which British trained horse has the better form this year over 1m4f.
September 15, 2020 at 17:02 #1501627The form of his great voltigeur isn’t anything special
He beat highland chief, a below par mogul, berkshire rocco who needs further and darain who ran no race at all
Doesn’t scream arc winner to me
Maybe the owners realise that going to the slightly weaker race at ascot is his best chance of getting a win
September 15, 2020 at 17:31 #1501630Enable beat all sorts of below par horses in below par races. The KG was a complete joke.
Stradivarius is another one running over the wrong trip, Raabibah is nothing special and so on. I think that at least a top three finish would have been very realistic.September 15, 2020 at 18:41 #1501640He would have a chance of placing as the french horses seem to be absolutely useless this year
So we have the two gosden horses then whatever obrein runs
If he was to run and be held up and run past beaten horses could definitely see him finishing in the first 4
Maybe the owners want to give him more time after the derby, voltigeur and a gruelling leger
