Surely you would want the same jockey to ride tomorrow and at the Festival?

Because he wants to ride it in the Arkle.
It’s a trappy race this year, bit still looks the winner to me.

Looks like a Penaly Kick tomorrow but I can’t see him trouble Sizing Europe in the big race

Thought the same myself when I saw it. He’ll definitely be on Captain Cee Bee in March. Surprised Timmy isn’t riding him.

Captain Cee Bee isn’t at Cheltenham yet and AP has ridden for her for years. Not a bad jockey to be having ride your best novice while he’s still learning

I think AP is keeping his options open in case CCB doesn’t make it to Cheltenham. Given CCP’s history, it’s a very sensible strategy.

I think most people would probably agree with you but personally I wouldn’t see him as a positive on either horse.

The pressure on AP to actually produce at the big meetings is on the increase. I just happened to see a clip of him winning the Racing Post on Naccarat today – how many decent Saturday’s has he had since then?

If you want a horse to be educated Tony McCoy is at the bottom of the list for possible jockeys
