Just had a message through from Wilhelm Hill
Maybe you should try Wilhelm Tell. The Swiss would take anything from you, even your non-gentile golden teeth.
August 16, 2021 at 21:37 #1557020Some of Adolfs ‘supporters’ appear to be growing in defiance once again following his glorious victory in ‘The Nutters National’. This disturbing footage was published on CNN earlier today.

August 16, 2021 at 21:46 #1557021They might not be quite so full of themselves when they see next year’s weights.
That 41-length victory hasn’t gone down too well with the Handicapper at ADOR (Authoritarian Dictator Official Ratings) HQ.

All together now… Hitler has only got one….

August 17, 2021 at 08:19 #1557053Hitler was a rig? So was that grand miler of the early nineties, Selkirk. Mind you, Selkirk didn’t win the Grand National by 41 lengths.

August 18, 2021 at 00:06 #1557176When it comes to comparing Selkirk and Hitler, I feel Selkirk needs to be given quite a few points for what he didn’t do.
August 26, 2021 at 21:46 #1558203Moehat – hopefully you’ll see this at some point! Did you notice Ivan The Terrible is the topic of the latest edition of You’re Dead to Me?
Based on what I learned from listening to it, his last place finish in the recent race could probably be described as disappointing based on his best form.
August 27, 2021 at 20:14 #1558287Message from Moehat conveyed to me via my Facebook Personal Blog page….
“I can’t post on the racing forum when I’m away from home. I can read everything but not respond. Could you tell Marlingford that I have indeed listened to the You’re Dead to Me about Ivan the Terrible and that also I have watched the Horrible Histories film about the Romans and was chuffed to realise that I understood all the references to Nero’s mother (ie when he kept trying to kill her). I’ve tried to get onto the forum but it’s to no avail. It’s like having a sort of locked in body experience although obviously not quite as bad as that. mo”

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"September 4, 2021 at 10:41 #1559011It was today announced that the 2022 renewal of this race will be on Saturday, 13th August, entries will close on Saturday 18th June and the weights will be revealed on Saturday 16th July.
The weights range will be from 12st7lb to 9st7lb (anything weighted lower will race from out of the Handicap Proper off 9st7lb).
There will again be 40 runners and in light of this year’s result the following performance ratings were today published.
The below are likely to try again next year, but contemporary world events in the interim May produce several intriguing unexposed dark horses which will be tough for the assessor to allot weights to – but he’ll give it his best shot as always!
Adolf Hitler 210
Uncle Joe Stalin 169
Pol Pot 166
Idi Amin 161
Timur 143
General Woundwort 142

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"September 4, 2021 at 11:18 #1559015So Adolf is going to be the only one carrying his allotted weight? Everyone else is going to be running from out of the handicap. Surely he’s a good thing?
Hitler: the Arkle of Authoritarian Dictators. Although Arkle was rated 212 by Timeform; Flyingbolt was rated 210.
September 4, 2021 at 11:40 #1559019Please don’t leap to conclusions, logical though they may appear to be, sir.
If you consult the scale for marathon race distances you will see there is an element of compression at work.
That said, as with Arkle, the presence of Adolf “Himself” Hitler will ensure that only a handful will race off their true mark.
I currently have a short list of four – Hitler included – likely to be in the Handicap Proper.
That’s racing! (Or rather Dictating!)
Could there by a Flyingbolt in there somewhere?
