    Just to tidy up Deep Diver and Sandford Lad.

    Deep Diver was Timeform rated 134 at 2 & 3, Sandford Lad 121 at 2 and 133 at 3.

    Deep Diver had 11 races at 2, starting off in the Brocklesby. After a disappointing start to his second season he rounded off with wins in the Nunthorpe and Prix De L’Abbaye. Record indicates he was extremely fast (more than one Course record) with a preference for quick ground which he was probably lucky to get in France. Sandford Lad raced eight times but was beaten only on debut and also ended his career with wins in the Nunthorpe and Prix De L’Abbaye.
