Is there any reason why Paul Morrison hasn’t got a mention in 9 pages of discussion. The thought of him and Peter Naughton going through 7 races at Ponte is enough to make me try and slit my wrists.

July 17, 2007 at 20:10 #108298Peter Naughton the most boring man – he shouldnt need to do reporting anymore it says at the bottom of the atr text that hes had so many winners surely he must be a millionaire by now and disappear
July 22, 2007 at 20:33 #108850Nick Luck, Richard Hoiles excellent IMO.
Indeed they are.
Sorry to drag this thread up to the top again but I was reminded of Outspan Chapman’s (lovely name!) power to irritate today after watching the supremely laid back, professional, entertaining, very BBCish coverage of the golf today. I flicked over to ATR to see what was happening and was met with Chapman making some irritating suggestive comment about a female emailer.
The contrast between the two styles turned my insides out and I couldn’t watch any more.
July 25, 2007 at 08:49 #109138The worst is Lesley Graham – can anybody remember a few years ago on C4 she was caught out doing pre race analysis by simply reading out the spotlight comments for each horse straight from the RP. To be fair she now admits she knows very little about horseracing form analysis and has absolutely no interest in betting on the sport either. Come to think of it, it makes you wonder how she ever got a job presenting racing programmes at all?
Richard Hoilles is excellent
July 29, 2007 at 09:26 #109599McCririck deserves another mention for his ridiculous comment yesterday that Skhilling Spirit should be declared a non runner and R4 applied, not the first time he’s made this mad suggestion. As if the start isn’t part of the race. Another sign that he’s possibly past his sell by date.
August 1, 2007 at 05:13 #109950Well from a punting perspective i’d have to say the worst would be Willie Carson as he gets horses names and form etc wrong all the time

Have to say i like Matt Chapman i think he brings some cheesy style entertainment to racing and i always end up laughing at him for one reason or another. He’s not afraid to make jokes about himself or the person he’s interviewing which can be good viewing imo.
August 1, 2007 at 07:19 #109953I didn’t think I’d ever see "punting perspective" and "Willie Carson" in the same sentence!!!!

………..and another Matt Chapman fan, there are absolutely loads of them on here!
