A very competive heat but who sticks in your craw the most?
June 22, 2007 at 20:47 #66160Can I vote for them all please?
June 22, 2007 at 20:52 #66164Ditto very difficult to pick one ouy of that load of s**t
e but as I don’t watch Channel 4 the ladies drop out of the picture.A close run thing between Thompson, McCririck and Chapman, with the fat one being very irritating this week but it has to be Chapman. I can’t think of any redeeming qualities.
Colin
June 22, 2007 at 20:52 #66165That’s the problem wallace, would be better if we could give points from 1 to 10, I would give 1 to other
June 22, 2007 at 20:57 #66166Barry Dennis is a shocking omission!!!
June 22, 2007 at 21:00 #66167As is Luke Harvey!
June 22, 2007 at 21:02 #66168Given the stick he gets on this forum, I’m surprised Rishi Persad didn’t get a mention.
June 22, 2007 at 21:02 #66169As that shirt lifter, James Sherwood doesn’t qualify, I never thought I would vote for anyone above Matt the broken record Chapman, Willie Carson is the one, is there anyone as stupid as this guy, a rocking horse would be more intelligent.
June 22, 2007 at 21:10 #66170Barry Dennis didn’t qualify but as spokesman for Chapman he can give him the good news. I feel guilty for not voting for Carson.
June 22, 2007 at 21:38 #66171Hello,
The irritating Carson who gets almost everything wrong is the man for me!:)
regards,
doyley
June 22, 2007 at 21:39 #66172I couldn’t vote for big mac as he was born annoying. You wouldn’t blame an orang utan for being born hairy would you?
Tanya comes across as being a little bit up herself sometimes. However, who wouldn’t be when you have to share a soap box with the dear stalker? Rishi would suffer delusions of grandure if he had to do Tanya’s job.
Thommo takes this hands down though. Thommo is absolutely dire. He is the very definition of the word ‘annoying’. In the dictionary, under the entry for an-oy-ing, it says "see ‘Thommo’".

Annoying and unprofessional presenter that he is, Willie Carson knows more about racing and race-riding than most of the rest put together, including the anodyne Ray Cochrane and, if you look past his cackling and juvenile behaviour, occasionally offers some quite valuable insights that separate him from those who like to pretend ‘they know’.
Wouldn’t call him all that unintelligent either; he had the initiative to take the wide route on Bahri, an unprecedented move that caused a few sharp intakes of breath at the time, but was copied in at least 2 races today.
I’d rather have one clown who has some knowledge of what he’s talking about, than the usual 5 or 6 guessers that make up the CH4/ATR teams.

I have to agree. The man may be a fairly poor TV presenter, but you have to lend weight to the opinions he gives when you consider the experience and talent he has, and I sometimes find the angles he comes from refreshing.
As for the poll, before seeing the options it was cut and dry for me: Thommo. But then Leslie Graham was presented, and she quite simply annoys the diddies off me. However, I’ve went for the former because he has become the face of TV horse racing to the public at large whilst simaltaeneously being a complete prat.
June 22, 2007 at 22:38 #66175Willie Carson, especially when he is analyzing pedigrees : " this horse is by this stallion, so is certain run thus ". Dumbass!
June 22, 2007 at 23:05 #66176No contest – has to be the orange one himself, Tangoman Chapman. What a complete prick.
June 22, 2007 at 23:29 #66177@SL … "Tangoman"
LMAO :o
I have to agree that Mr Chapman appears to take his holidays on the surface of Alpha Centuri, if that factor one bronzed look is anything to go by. It would be laughable if you didn’t know 99% for sure that he uses Boots ‘all year long’ instant tanning lotion.
June 23, 2007 at 09:02 #66178Normally I would have voted for Willie Carson, but after watching Matt Chapman attempting to do his John McCririck impression for most this week, he gets my vote on this ocassion.
Mind you, I don’t find any of them particulary irritating.
