I’ve read various bits and pieces regarding the court outcomes but there doesn’t seem to be anything forthcoming re what allegedly started all the fighting ?

I went to the first meeting of the year at Goodwood. It was a glorious day weather-wise, unfortunately spoiled by around 25 young men.
After the sixth race at 4.25pm I went into the bar where this began before it spilled out on to the concourse. The atmosphere was awful as there were young men chanting at each other as if they were at a football match. I left the bar because of this, but kept an eye on the proceedings. The chanting continued for some time before violence inevitably flared up….”
November 14, 2019 at 06:04 #1474765Thanks for the update info; I have only read about the incident but was wondering if this was some kind of maybe Traveller’s family feuding, or, a gang of yobs who came to the races together looking for an excuse for a booze up and a fight. Can it really be put down to just drink related at Glorious Goodwood.
