If you haven’t enjoyed this then you dont like horse racing
Some serious equine performances
Some brilliant rides
Some brilliant training performancesThey say the night is darkest before the dawn and that has definitely been the case with the elliot scandal leading up to the festival
Racing badly needed to fill the headlines with good stories
And Rachel blackmore, tiger roll et a have very much done that
March 19, 2021 at 16:47 #1531135Ditto all of that.
March 19, 2021 at 16:58 #1531138Agree but I can’t wait to see the crowd back next year
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 19, 2021 at 17:00 #1531141Yes it was such a shame there was no crowd
Imagine the scenes when tiger roll came swinging on the bridle turning for home
March 19, 2021 at 17:05 #1531147Ireland won 23-5.
Quite close then.
March 19, 2021 at 18:29 #1531191Didn’t have much luck today but thoroughly enjoyed all the racing and can’t wait to hopefully be back next year! 🤞
March 19, 2021 at 19:13 #1531210“Ireland won 23-5.”
Let’s hope that the rugby is closer tomorrow.
March 19, 2021 at 19:58 #1531237I thought it was a brilliant meeting. It just missed the roars for Tiger and Rachael, not to mention the mass groan when Envoi hit the deck.
March 19, 2021 at 20:32 #1531247Well said FF. Tremendous Festival, banishing the negative storylines of recent times to history & prompting numerous feel-good stories. Rachael, HDB, Honeysuckle, victories for small yards, Tiger Roll roared again, Minella Indo and umpteen new stars.
Irish dominance a slight concern and hopefully a kick in the arse for British racing to make radical but necessary changes to the programme.
March 19, 2021 at 22:15 #1531309Couldn’t agree more, the racing has been phenomenal and some great stories along the way. Look forward to being back there next yr after this forced absence as I’m sure we all are.
