Southport’s substitutes look like they have made an impact. Still 2-1.
April 26, 2025 at 17:04 #1728448Brackley 5 Farsley Celtic 0
Southport 2 Kidderminster 1Brackley are The Champions!!

Well done, L!
Aside from being happy with the Southport win, I am pleased we put one over Kidderminster. A few of their fans seemed to be celebrating before they had won.
A good win to end the season – and we have coined it in from a crowd of 2,800 as well!
April 26, 2025 at 17:24 #1728454Well done Nathan with the Gas relegation, they are similar to the Cobbs, yoyo team between the bottom two divisions.
Is the Jordan guy still the owner?April 26, 2025 at 17:31 #1728456Well Crawley put the boot into the Cobblers, I expected better from our lot. Most will be looking for new clubs next season, a complete clear out please. So no returns from that.
The 10/3 Brackley win the league returned 43.33..

I should be out in town tonight, but busy tomorrow.
Ongoing..+65.74
Only one Cobbs match left home to Wigan next Saturday, but KSV1919 have a few to go.
CAS..you deserve a beer mate..thanks for your non league input..
April 26, 2025 at 17:45 #1728458Great thread profit.

It sounds like we played really well today. A few players with a point to prove, with a new manager about to be appointed and possibly new owners taking over as well.
It has been a tough season at times, although I don’t suppose we ever seriously looked like getting relegated.
But I think the club proved a point today. If we can get it right off the pitch and get the recruitment right, we can still be competitive at this level.
Good luck to Brackley in the National League. Nice to see Truro get promoted from NLS as well, although I don’t suppose too many teams are looking forward to a long journey to Cornwall next season!
April 26, 2025 at 17:55 #1728459Truro and Carlisle will be interesting..Ill google map it later.
April 26, 2025 at 17:59 #1728460Gateshead to Truro: 904 miles round trip.
April 26, 2025 at 20:57 #1728467Loganair fly from Newcastle to Newquay..hmm shares in the Airline..
Anyway..going back to tomorrows KSV1919 Match at the Alpine Stadium.
Already had a correct score bet up thread on SV Read 3-1 (last season I was at the match for the same fixture there was a SV Read win 3-1).
So going to add a KSV1919 Home win and a correct Score 3-2 home win.
KSV1919 5@4S

Ongoing +59..April 27, 2025 at 15:33 #1728537Very pleased to have beaten Kidderminster yesterday. Phil Brown gave an interview for their website during the week where his whole attitude came across as only needing to turn up to win, with a few sneering comments about Southport battling relegation all season.
He cut a very different figure in his post match interview yesterday! Some of the comments from their fans whining about bottling it are disrespectful as well.
If they care to look, Southport’s record at Haig Avenue against the top 8 this season is W4, D2, L2. We have also kept over 20 clean sheets this season. We were not going to be a pushover.
Despite a difficult second half of the season, we were never in the bottom four and never seriously threatened by relegation. Even when we dropped to 20th place, we were 12 points clear of Needham Market. The talk by Kidderminster fans about us battling relegation all season is ridiculous.
From what I heard, their fans were silent after our first goal went in. They didn’t get behind their team at all.
Brown is a clown. His credibility has never recovered since he humiliated his own players at Hull and ended up humiliating himself.
I wish I could have been there yesterday but circumstances did not permit. I regret not having a bet now – I believe we were 8/1 with one bookmaker!
April 27, 2025 at 21:38 #1728561When the prices first came out, Southport were 10s to win, I posted upthread.
Phil Browns best successes have come while he was Managing in India, says a lot. He was also a pundit over there for PL matches.

May 1, 2025 at 21:29 #1728914Cheltenham bekons tomorrow night so best put these up now as I’ll be in no fit state Saturday.
Northampton V Wigan H 29/20 D 2/1 A 17/10.
Cobbs never had much luck in the last match of the season, so a draw will do for me, obviously will do a home win 4-1. Dara Costello has been on fire so first goal seems a good shot.

May 7, 2025 at 16:39 #1729701Phil Brown has been sacked as Kidderminster manager.
You need a heart of stone not to laugh..
May 7, 2025 at 18:26 #1729712Maybe back to India for him, Premier League Pundit..
May 7, 2025 at 22:06 #1729743A poster on the Southport forum has suggested we should offer him a job.
May 8, 2025 at 19:41 #1729814CAS, hes upset the Kiddy lot by blaming the players for the defeat. Take a look on their forum..
