Most frustrating, Happy, I lost one soon after the new site started up but haven’t had the problem since.

I’m still finding the site rather slow on Chrome………..don’t think it’s my laptop.

As mentioned previously I did have teh problem but, touch wood, it seems to have disappeared.

Trouble is it was very random and cannot think of any commonality.

Just a small gripe, sorry if it’s been mentioned earlier:
Dislike the way the thread title has to be repeated in such big type in the header for each reply, seems a bit unnecessary.

As you will have noticed, we have released some changes today:
-Fonts changed to sans-serif
-Post area made wider
-Streamlined navigation in the top-right (with view new/unread/your posts feature)
-Tidying of forms including in control panel (still some work left to do)
-Hyperlinks colouring fixed in posts
-Streamlined registration process
-Improved error messaging
-Heading font size reduced in threads
-Redesigned footer

We hope these make the user experience a little better.

More improvements coming in the next few weeks. Thanks to everyone who has flagged issues in this thread and via email.

Cant get the little smilies up in posts. Have checked user options and it says that they should be working. would of put a confused one here but obviously cant.

Have really enjoyed the forum in recent weeks and have got use the changes good job.

Appreciate the tweaks, widening is welcomed,keep stretching!
"The Bar" is still far too dominant imo.
Never need or use the Recent, Hot or Most Active Member links/info, tits on a bull imo.
New snow white background on posts is a bit glarey, the light grey was better imo.
A few more smilies would be welcome, cant insert the present ones since the upgrade.
What happened to the colour coded stickies?
A more distinct colour for the new post icon, orange or yellow would work well imo.
Bold red fonts on thread titles would be better imo.
