Nice win for Lemon Silk there in the 3.50 Nursey at Beverley.
August 17, 2006 at 15:12 #75484Well done!
August 17, 2006 at 15:13 #75485Thank you. Delighted!
August 17, 2006 at 16:11 #75486Good stuff Naps. Nice price too, hope you had a few quid on.
Grass – unlucky for your mob. Never looked to be put in the race.
August 17, 2006 at 17:24 #75487Well done Naps, somehow I ended up not seeing the race despite being next to a TV :o
Long term plan? Next year’s July Cup?
August 17, 2006 at 17:39 #75488Thanks Mesh, but no July Cup, lol. In fact Micky said that the further he went, the better he went, so a step up in trip is in the offing. Funnily enough, Tom now thinks that he will eventually make a cracking hurdler.
August 17, 2006 at 19:02 #75489Nice one Naps, a very game win, nice to see a horse that wants to get his head in front, nicely judged ride as well.

August 17, 2006 at 20:30 #75490<br>Well done Naps, enjoyable watching. My immediate thought was that he’d be ideal for the big 1M nursery at the Leger meeting – but as that’s been moved to Southwell and they can’t run 1M races on turf, it’s been cut to 7F this year.
Still there’s a nice 1M nursery worth £20k on Ayr Gold Cup day …….

August 18, 2006 at 09:19 #75491Congratulations Naps, I saw him entered up and immediately thought of you.  Missed out as I had 3 other horses to back (2 for sentimental reasons and 1 for financial and sentimental one’s). Two were beat and the main one had his race called off :(
Not seen the race but sounds like a cracking run and hope you were on :)
