Just read over at Talking Horses on The Guardian that there have now been 11 cases since the resumption of racing of jockeys failing to weigh in. This is due to changing rooms now being in different locations and away from the scales because of the Covid protocols.
I realise it is still the jockey’s responsibility but it could easily be solved by an official standing at the door of the changing room and asking if they have weighed in. I really do not see how this is difficult.
Another example of racing making itself look ridiculous.
