2:30 Perth – Lucinda Russell is one of the top trainers at this course and runs Mr Preacher Man who has been consistent this winter. Got stuck in the mud at Ayr last time out but the form of his third place at Carlisle previously gives him a good chance in this race. Backed e/way at 5/1.

3:30 Epsom – I’ve always considered Tabadul to be at his best running on fastish ground at a sharp course so he should have every chance in this race. Only worry is the high draw in number 16. Backed e/way at 10/1.

Just a tentative lay today for me on Fashion Model (13/8) in the 4.00 Maiden at Epsom. She may not be asked for everything this time on the fast ground.

The likes of Leon Knights, Rock Anthem or Shot Gun could spring a surprise.
