One of my favorite races of the year for getting some hectic prices.

Really like Bahamian Babe, but she is very short, will have a look through the field to price ratios in the morning to pick out a few I think.

    Anyone any ideas?

Unless the West Yorkshire venue has come up wth a novel way of filling their cards with the chase course out of aaction untikl the autumn, shouldn’t it be the Weatherbys Super Sprint?

Have done three against the field here:

    Infamous Angel (main bet)
    Senor Mirasol
    Bahamian Babe

Will do reasons in the morning (provided I have time).

Penny’s Gift looks a worthy favourite but cramped odds so I would suggest Caranbola ew. A form line through Aspen Darlin gives her every chance with the favourite at levels and she gets 2lbs.

    MOSS LIKELY

Form is nothing to get excited about, but she has a course and distance victory to her name and will appreciate the quicker ground. Mick Channon’s sole representative could run well at nice odds.

    BAHAMIAN BABE

Defeated Red Cell, Gone Hunting and Langs Lashes in her first three starts – each went on to win next time out. Like many fancied runners, she didn’t run her race at Royal Ascot behind Langs Lashes when given a fairly poor ride, but I think she boasts the best overall form in the field.

Most of the ones I like appear to be covered so I’ll chance my arm with

    Mullglen e/w @ 20-1
    Pockets Pick e/w @ 40-1
    Finnegan McCool e/w @ 66-1
    Shampagne e/w @ 66-1

Well done ginge 3 out of four aint bad, even without the winner.

A decent win for Kheylef, puts him back up the first season sires runnings a bit.

Seemed to be a very rough race yesterday.

Were there any bans handed out to the jocks?

Buick will have been very lucky if he didn’t get one for his ride on Caranbola.

Had to laugh at John Francomes comment immediately after the race. ”There were no hard luck storys”. Care to look before speaking Johnny?
