I am with you on this one Nathan. And I have backed it with the same bookie chappie too!!
Not sure if this bodes well or not GULP
April 18, 2015 at 15:19 #894487Well beaten.
Pethers Moon ran a great race considering the penalty and first time out. Hughes was slightly easy on Windshear at the end there, I don’t know if driving him harder or giving him another crack would of made any difference regard getting third or not as he seemed to pick up anyway by himself but it looked like Hughes was looking after him in the final furlong.Overall – +£17.92

April 18, 2015 at 18:29 #894933Have to agree with you Nathan. I think he thought the first were away and gone and then Romsdal stopped and Hughes maybe realised too late to get third.
April 22, 2015 at 21:51 #902290Skybet go 20/1 Toormore for the Lockinge.
His early form was indeed disappointing last season but on Champions day he was much more encouraging and not just the run. He had filled his frame and looked a fine specimen of a horse. His two year old career was good and connections said then he had a lot more growing and maturing to do and would be a better horse at three. My personal opinion is that it has taken him a little longer to fulfil his potential and this could well be his year. If all goes to plan he will line up at Newbury and the 20’s will be long gone.Lockinge – TOORMORE 20/1 £5.00 Each/way 1/5 odds 1,2,3 skybet

April 25, 2015 at 22:46 #919753I was slightly a bit miffed by Toormore’s absence in the Sandown mile, not that I didn’t realise he wasn’t running but I thought it would make sense to give him a spin to blow away the cobwebs and get him finely tuned for his tilt at the Lockinge.
Oh wait you say, he’s having it on Wednesday, Ascot.
Fantastic.
Sky Bet yet to move 20/1 Toormore. Shifting Power 12’s, really?Blackbeard to conquer the World
April 29, 2015 at 16:00 #929696No run for Toormore today.
I see the American horse wont run in the Lockinge. Skybet remain 20’s whilst Stan James go 7’s.Blackbeard to conquer the World

May 1, 2015 at 21:17 #931473Ladbrokes love me raymo.
So much so that they insist I ring the doorbell of the shop before entering just so that they can lay out the red carpet.
They sit me down in the chair, the best chair the one with the least stains in it and hand deliver me a brand new little red pen, full of ink and one that hasn’t been chewed before offering me a sweet and coffee.
With all this pampering, something tells me I’m losing…..!!Blackbeard to conquer the World
May 1, 2015 at 22:43 #931548PMSL Nathan you are certainly a valued customer with that kind of treatment.
May 1, 2015 at 22:55 #931552You would think so however the turnover of staff does mean the newbies take a little longer to provide the service requirements. Only the other day the new girl with the bright pink hair asked me to re-move my hood from my Canford Cliffs hoodie. I said to her ‘do you know who I am’? she replied ‘I don’t give a sh!t, now take off the hood’. I thought to myself I know what to do, I’m going to show her who the daddy is, so what I did was, wait for it, wait for it…..
I only goes and grabs one of those little red pens and leg it out the shop as fast as I could……Blackbeard to conquer the World

May 9, 2015 at 17:26 #959660Cirrus Des Aigles is just about as good as ever despite competing in over 60 races. He handles Epsom fine and once the horse gets confirmed as a runner in the Coronation Cup because at the moment Barande-Barbe has just said it’s an option the 3/1 will look more like the horses starting price in the event last year of odds on. There’s plenty of challengers in the oddschecker market but who will turn up and who will handle the course?

May 17, 2015 at 16:18 #1017154I was a bit sceptical about this one but
Forgotten Rules showed he’s still alive and can run on good as well as heavy and will be the one to beat in the Gold Cup, he beat off a sustained challenge from Answered who had already had a run under his belt. Not the 5’s that Caution got but the 5/2 is still a fair price with not many dangers to oppose him with.Ascot Gold Cup FORGOTTEN RULES 5/2 £10.00

May 19, 2015 at 18:07 #1030735I’ve gone in on Toormore for Queen Anne. It’s all about opinions and mine is this horse can beat Night of Thunder, he’s getting closer and although both should progress for their Lockinge efforts I have pinned my colours to the mast and expect Toormore to get the better of him. The breeders cup mile winner Karakonite looks to be missing the race and I know the power of the two at the top of the market but they have to travel and it’s not always easy to get things right in that regard. Toormore could possibly go elsewhere but connections must feel he has the beating of NOT otherwise they would not have tried against him four times.
