Heaven’s Gate is a sea of blue for the Queen Mary, it makes sense with Fairy Godmother set for the Albany and Aidan bound to split them. Make Haste looked extremely powerful and the Queen Mary has been said to be the plan.

Will play Kings Gambit at some stage unless he gets shorter than the 3s already available
One horse who has already finished ahead of Kings Gambit is Bracken’s Laugh. Chester was a little tight for him and Ascot course will suit better. Stiff task but today could just suit Blue Lemons. He has a bit of form with Bracken’s Laugh and most of his runs have been on soft going and small field sizes.

Nearly a full on bloodbath
Rosallion saved the week from being a wipeout with early 5’s and also 7/2
River Tiber was disappointing but looked a mess beforehand
I thought about doing Continuous so that was a lucky escape
Missed chances were Augustse Rodin at 7’s after the Tattersalls, I dallied too long
and thought about Bedtime Story 14’s for the guineas when checking the market after Fairy Godmother’s win

Witch Hunter is not a bad price.. He’s not much better or worse than those tomorrow so his price at 7/1 is tempting. I’ll wait until tomorrow though as the going combined with the distance may see him lack the tactical speed if they go steady
I have backed Bluestocking.. Always the bridesmaid sometimes unlucky and sometimes a little wayward. She was a huge eyecatcher in winning at York LTO and her main market rival has one or two question marks against her name
