Both winDecember 20, 2021 at 17:06 #1573469Overcomplicated things with the tricast but Celtic classic did well and toughed things out at the end. Dropped into a seller to win at same time here as last year for new connections.

Starfighter
Win
Marginal preference is for Starfighter who has superiority over Hector’s on head to heads. Carey street is the danger, won last time here and has no collaborative form with these and could be progressive.
CSF- £15.12 paid for the forecast.

6pmEternal summer gets a lot of weight from the favourite nearly a stone. Very well bred runs for John and Thaidy Gosden dam has five had consecutive winners.
Nankeen won well on debut but couldn’t defy the penalty last time.
Natalie Rose
Small each way
May even follow that one home having shown some promise running on on debut.

Canaget set this up nicely for the winner by setting a searing pace in front.

Carey street ran on well to help land a £15 forecastDecember 21, 2021 at 10:52 #1573602Well done with your winners yesterday Sam
great picks and your forecast..just in time for Christmas.👍Did you see that Masked Identity is out today 4.30 in a 4 horse race at Wolverhampton. Going for a 4xtimer with Josephine Gordon on board and still in with a decent shout at the weights.
I got 85/40 last night and now around 15/8.
My only concern as I said on my Meydan Thread might be lack of cover as he likes to come from off the pace but Josephine knows him well and will have him positioned spot on to make a challenge.
Best of luck if you have a bet today Sam…
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...December 21, 2021 at 11:36 #1573605Hi there Triptych.
looks like having a decent chance and when they are on a winning run just keep backing till they stop. My thinking says there must be some each way value there too as the favourite will be heavily backed so will have a look.
I’ve had a look.
Newcastle 4.30
Is a very small field which always leaves the favourite vunerable.
Teston looks to be the danger here Triptych, having run up to a very high standard group class and won off 90 and been rated up to 101.
My bet here would be a reverse forecast with Masked Identity.
Have you seen Hugh Taylors selections? They are running very well. I think he is three from four last few days.
https://www.attheraces.com/tips/atr-tipsters/hugh-taylor
He has put up one today I recommended last time out and it placed @ 40/1.
I doubt he reads my stuff but its good to know I’m a step ahead of him sometimes
.
I like to check out his choices and go with them or against them. One to look out for today.
PARISENCORE Ayr 1230
In the opening hurdle at Ayr, looks to hold a strong chance. Today’s maiden race is full of winners and the selection needs to step up from a great showing at Newcastle last month when a staying on second.
The winner ‘since Day One’ turned out again Saturday in a novice hurdle at the same venue and romped home by 14 lengths. The winner of Saturdays race last year was Tommys Oscar and that one is now rated 147.
Whilst that does not equate to Parisencore’s potential, shows the standard Since Day One is hoping to reach.
Sure touch looks the danger hence
PARISENCORE win w/o sure touch. Evens
PARISENCORE win. 13/8
Plumpton 1220
Looks straight forward for the favourite after a wide margin bumper win but my selection can put this to bed late on as
MINELLA BUSTER win
Has come out of better races against tough opposition and has won a point to point which has thrown up several winners under rules.December 21, 2021 at 12:17 #15736071220

1.05 Ayr
CalivignyEach way
On old form has an outside chance here and his young jockey was the last winner on this horse last November 2020. Dropped down to that mark. And win over Doyen Breed( now rated 147) could be a good marker but only an outsider in this race.

Win
Comes here off a winning run and is dangerous and unconsidered in the market.December 21, 2021 at 13:22 #1573616Soon became clear neither selection was going to feature and….
Ended up backing fosters island in running as he pulled clear only not to be fluent at the last rallied to get a share on the line but still looked likely second.
Just called a dead heat.December 21, 2021 at 13:35 #15736171.40 Ayr
The favourite
Neil’s son
Ridden by Brian Hughes looks in trouble here.
Bill Baxter stepping up closer to a preffered trip can assert and win here.
The form of his second in a point to point is working out very well with the winner running to a very high standard in Ireland.
Largy Trix
Another stepping up in trip whose pointer form is better than rules can get into the places at huge odds.BILL BAXTER

each wayDecember 21, 2021 at 14:00 #1573621Certainly in the gutter now!!
Bill Baxter given a strange ride and predictably didn’t see out the trip haven been ridden so far ahead of the field.
Disappointing.

can make it a good day of picks in the last.December 21, 2021 at 18:03 #1573691Just got home and watched the race Sam and he did it again 1-2-3-4 x timer
Even when challenged he was much better than that neck he won by I think he had more to give..what a horse for Josephine Gordon and the punters..wonder where he goes next?Teston was disappointing in that and I’m really surprised Masked Identity went off 3/1..I only got the 85/40 as I backed him last night when I thought he would go off Evens.
but over the moon that he’s won again.I dont often look at Hugh Taylor’s choices Sam but sure he reads yours
that 40/1 place he tipped today
that you gave last time was a great shout…well done.
