Just been out and it’s really quite mild here with no snow anywhere. Would be really quite surprised if this is called off now. Depends on any frost tonight I suppose.

December 4, 2010 at 21:27 #331175Hope you’re right Mike. Looking forward to the juvenile hurdle.
December 4, 2010 at 22:01 #331178Also hope you’re right, Betlarge! Southwell went the way of all flesh (or all ice, to be more exact) for me today, but very, very much hope to be able to get to Warwick or Exeter tomorrow. Would have to set off for the latter even before the inspection, though, so the former seems the likeliest.

December 4, 2010 at 22:40 #331181Was not far from Warwick myself tonight and all seemed fine but temps could reach a low of minus seven tonight/tomorrow, allegedly.

December 5, 2010 at 09:04 #331224Could’ve raced in my back garden. Not one single phone call. Amateurs.

December 5, 2010 at 11:30 #331235Well Exeter have decided to race…after a fashion
Suppose we should be grateful for small mercies, but with the chases having at least the four fences round the back omitted I wouldn’t care to be betting there
Still, who’d be a CoC at present. Good luck to them

Presumably one of the tighter circuits in the country though?
They had a try and it wasn’t to be. At least Exeter have shown a little flexibility in attempt to get soem racing on.
