    Happy retirement to him!

He won the first gold cup i watched after being heavily backed through the might and what a run yesterday, as he came through to pick up second my hairs were on end, almost a dream ending!

I quietley fancied the old fella to do something watching the race yesterday on Sky+.
That would have been going back to my sentimental days where some might call it mug punting but on some not wholly unrare occasions these inklings come up trumpts.

Wishing War of Attitions connections and the horse itself a long and happy retirement.

great to se the old boy go out with a bang, but I don’t think it was a high quality race. WOA is stones below what he used to be, Cooldine hasn’t been performing well and Deman finished a close fourth depite being totally unable to handle the track. I was delighted to see Planet of Sound winning, but the form doesn’t amount to much
