I was on Rio De la Plata that particular day, and although he certainly had ground to make up, having viewed the race many times over, I still do not think he would have finished in front of the winner, irresepective of how the race was run.

I actually think that New Approach is a better prospect than Bolger’s much vaunted Teofilo. However, only time will tell whether he is the ‘real deal’ or not.
