    What a superb performance today.
    Does anyone else think that he should go for the Champion Chase like me.
    It is not a vintage division and I would fancy him to win it even though it is a big ask

    There is a strong enough field for the Champion Chase, but I think UDS would have a favourite’s chance. Most impressed by how he burned the others off between the last two fences. He’s not entered tho

    I bloody hope he doesn’t go for it this year as he’s the only danger to my horse

    Dodging Bullets

    if he got round.I’ve got a handle on everything for the QMCC but him going there would certainly put a different angle on things.Common Sense should prevail and the softly softly approach is working fine,he’ll be tested by the Course in the Arkle and that will bode well for a tilt next year should he pass that test.

    They wouldn’t allow him to win a Champion Hurdle so it seems very unlikely he will be in a Champion Chase.

    Ive laid him at money on. Obvious enough reasons at this stage although i may not hold that position on the day.

    Forgetting the entirely necessary, but occasionally dull matters of stones, pounds and ounces:

    Today’s round was exhilarating, and ties with Special Tiara at Kempton in my favourite performances of the NH season. Magnificent.

    Un De Sceaux was mightily impressive.

    I think he would certainly be a major contender if his trainer did decide to go for the Champion Chase. Somehow I think he’ll stick to the Arkle.

    It will take a good horse to beat him, although as we all know , Cheltenham can be a great leveler.

    * sorry, double post.

    Is there a delete button for such personal mistakes. If not , there should be. Just a thought. :)

    Completely different case to Arvika Ligeonniere given Un De Sceaux has proven himself left handed :?

    Arvika Ligeonniere was about a stone better going the other way.
