I’ll take that. My selection Gericault Roque ran a stormer and our local trainer won the race.

First 4 home were UK novices I believe.

Harry Cobden gave Oscar Elite a great ride it was either keep him out wide or get buried at the back. Gave up lots of ground but it was definetly a case of him obtaining the best possible placing he doesn’t strike me as one to run through horses unlike the winner.

Enjoyed the race as much as the puzzle which is the main thing :good:

    It’s possible Green,
However, speed won him the race today.
…To come from that far back in a slower run race; winner is imo much better than winning distances suggest.

That was One For Arthur like. Very impressive and Aintree must be in the back of their minds.

I thought Lostintranslation ran a great race and a go at the National shouldn’t be totally sniffed at.

Given his connections, you would certainly think Aintree will be on the agenda. Or alternatively Ayr.

Quirkier than One For Arthur though so could easily not take to Aintree GN fences.

Corach Rambler isn’t in the National this year. With Ayr being two weeks early this year I’d be surprised if they go there either. Only 18 days after a hard race.

I was thinking Ayr next year, not this one.
